It was pleasant. It is more than a business hotel. You should take beach side resorts or hotels than this. In this river viewn sea view rooms r good. Room service is excellent and restaurants -receiving, menu, presentation is very good.

The view is amazing, I like the design building is between traditional and Arabian style. The Lange is beautiful and comfortable with small fish and big bird. I ask them balance device and they was helpful. It was there iron in room also. The place very quite.

We had the chance to stay in this hotel for a few days and appreciated either the kindness of the staff and the cleanliness of our room. The SPA was fine and it was also possible using a well equipped gym. The sunset was lovely to admire from the hotel location and we do recommend it to those who have the chance to, not to miss!!!

Went there to spend some memorable time in a wonderful environment and ordered for water and 3 desserts at La Fourchette Restaurant after a lunch in Port Louis. It was hot (my phone was saying 30°C) and even if we knew the desserts (so elegantly named and described in the menu) would take some time, we were expecting the water to be served soon after our order, to shorten our waiting time. We were surprised to note that there was only 1 waiter for 3 occupied tables and after 20 mins we couldn't wait anymore. We went inside the restaurant to remind the waiter and he took another 5 mins to bring the water !
10 mins later the desserts came What they called an "apple tart" was 1 large crumbled biscuit with 6 extremely thin slices of green apple on it.. the apple slices were raw and looked everything but appetizing on the side of the plate, a spoonful (it looked more like a teaspoonful) of ice cream which was melting already you can imagine how painful it was to gather the melted ice cream with your spoon.. the "tart" was dry and not inspiring at all.. The 2nd dessert was 2 tiny bowls (same size as those used to contain crushed chillies) with 2 types of creme brulée. The base of the bowl was thicker than the height of the content. Between the 2 bowls, a teaspoonful of ice cream melted and melting The 3rd dessert which my daughter chose "ice cream with coulis de fruits rouges" was just 1 teaspoonful of ice cream in a glass of cut strawberries with a sugary liquid tempting enough for a child.. but how disgusted she was when she had her first mouthful, she got several grains of pink pepper. All the 3 desserts cost us MUR 190 (EUR 5) each !!

We left the restaurant with only 1 thing in mind : it was our 1st and last time ! We took pictures of our plates and are sure going to show them to our friends and colleagues.

The director should come and see what's being served in the plates and maybe hire people to act as guests and test /measure the service. He / she should not allow this mediocre service spoil the memorable and wonderful spot.

It's a very nice setting.
The hotel run into financial difficulties. It is being administrated by one of the big four accounting companies, who have contracted the management to Indigo Hotels in Mauritius. Repairs are needed, the outdoor seating area needs to refurbished.
The setting is spectacular with view onto river spilling out into the Indian Ocean.

Was really surprised that this kind of hotel with such an amazing view existed in the country i live. My goodness the food was good. The atmosphere was superb. The chinese resto was fantastic with the chef cooking in front of you. And what to say about that strange wasabi icecream

It is a place where when you go for the first time, as a local, you will be impressed that such a place even exists in the country, how it has been built etc. Awesome views, nice spa and restaurants. Worth the visit. Well priced. Easy to access.

Excellent value for the money (~150€)! Super nice view from up to the lagoon! Relax and silence hotel area twisted with live piano music in the afternoon happyhours. Modern free gym, easy going cozy iSpa, nice hotel bars and delicious restaurant Izumi with live cooking and good prices as well! Staff was also truly welcome and gentle! Organic public bus was uniq experience, 30 minutes to Port Louis capital and 0,60€! High recommendation for this hotel complex!

Solid happy hour for those who drink alcohol or non alcoholic drinks. Burgers and pizza are decent at the bar and the restaurants are not bad (Japanese tepanyaki and a world cuisine restaurant)
