I stayed for 4 nights in Seapoint boutique Hotel. It is a lovely small hotel, romantic atmosphere, very quiet (just adults), super friendly staff (especially Vishnu, Manav, Yusra, Rashvan and Nick), great spa service. The hotel has nice private beach, but it is small and rocky. The hotel has a nice restaurant that serves a delicious food for dinner. However, they need to improve the breakfast. Regarding the swimming pool, it is small and they need to make it bigger.
They provide some free activities such as bicycles, kayaking and snorkling. However, they need to work professionally on outside excursions. There is nothing around the hotel, but the Grand Bay area is about 8 minutes by car. In addition, there is a shopping mall about 10 minutes by car. You can use the bicycles to go there.
In general, I highly recommend this hotel and I would stay there again.response / report this review -

We came to Mauritius for a wedding and we were the only ones to choose this amazing place. During our stay we visited the family who were staying at other luxury hotels and all I can say is we won with our choice in every aspect. Very easy to book and when we arrived we were made to feel like we were part of a family. Vishnu and Manav were absolutely fantastic in making sure we were looked after and arranged special trips/dinners for us. The bar staff of Abhi, Anoop and Ismael were absolutely fantastic and could not do any more to look after us. I apologize for not naming the other staff members but every single one was hard working and just an absolute pleasure to be around. We even had little animals made of our towels every time we returned to our rooms. The facilities are 1st class and the experience we enjoyed was nothing but the best and more than we could have ever dreamt of. We will genuinely miss this place. If you are coming to Mauritius then this is the place to go. You will not find anything better. From Steve and Kristen

Super place all the staff are brilliant our second time there and we could be back another year very peaceful and relaxing no children it's a romantic get away right on the beach and very intermate I give this hotel 5 stars like I did last year if you need any assistance all you do is ask nothing is to much trouble for the staff

Horrible booking process. Hotel does not comply to commitments. We booked 8 months before our stay and got a booking confirmation. 2 months before we were told to send pictures and security number(!) of credit card for 50% deposit. When we refused to send via email, the hotel offered to transfer via telephone. They never called. After 5 emails and even 2 calls from our side the hotel did not reply anymore. We had to book another hotel.

Friendly professional staff & a beautiful relaxed location. Clean, comfortable & peaceful rooms. Great tasting food. Our only frustration was the cold solar showers (due to the rainy weather) which was taken care of on our third day. The staff, especially Maniv, the food & beverages manager, were extremely friendly, patient & accommodating. Even though our visit was supposed to have been a quiet get-away (which coincided with our anniversary), we were treated to a "surprise second honeymoon" with romantic dinners and varied beautiful romantic bedroom setups. I will most definitely recommend Seapoint Boutique Hotel to anybody looking for a quiet, romantic get-away

Beautiful, super well decorated hotel with spacious and well design rooms. Top notch personnel, always incredibly helpful and friendly. Pool/beach area is just perfect (even though the beach/ocean is not as well protected from the eastern winds as the Mon Choisy beach, and that wind is constantly present in late June/July). Food is quite expensive compared to local options nearby (try the Off, a kilometer away) but quality is there, options are varied, breakfast buffet is great and eating by the poolside is super comfortable.
Some recurring hot water issues were disappointing from a hotel with that standing, but the biggest issue we faced was the WiFi: it was working well at most 70% of the time. In the evening, it was working maybe 40% of the time at best. Just checking in our return flight took 30 mins due to the number of disconnections we faced throughout the process. A 30min video call would be nearly impossible.
Honestly unacceptable when you pay that much. Tough to put 3 stars considering how everything else went well but I would still not go back there unless they fixed that.response / report this review -

Fabulous beach hotel with beautiful views. The service was exceptional and the restaurant created the most delicious combinations of flavours. Absolutely returning next time I'm back to Mauritius.

A fantastic hotel in a wonderful place!!! It's my second experience in Mauritius but this is better than the other one. The Kindly services became wonderful with the guys of food and beverage-in particular Manav the boss and big eyes. To improve the reception's services.
