I know Rose Hill Transport since I was a kid, I remember travelling with my dad in the double decker bus when I was 4 in 1979 and found it fantastic that there was no driver on the upper deck. During the 40 years which passed Rose Hill Transport has gone through many level of innovation which made this company the best transport provider of the island. You can have your breakfast on board, you may use electronic prepaid card (Filao Card) for your travel, there is free wifi in the buses etc.. However, you may be squeezed in some of their buses as the 3 places benches cannot accomodate 3 adults at a time.

At 7.30 am when i was just going to the university I saw about 10 cockroaches. I know it may happen we don't live in a perfect world but in fact at that time burk the bus should be cleaned for the beginning of a new day. This is a lack of hygiene, cleanness. I'm disappointed for it used to be my favorite bus company

Nice bus transport in Mauritius may be I can say the best in the country. They have doubledecker bus and extremely comfortable air con buses. They have their own type of payment method, the filao card which you have to buy. It not expensive jist Rs150 or about $5 this will already be loaded with $4 and with that you will have about 2 trip to port louis. You can also further refill it afterwards for any other trip. #mauritius #busservice #rht
