High expectations and disappointing reality.
The food was really far from fine dining, service even further. Too much preliminary warnings and precautions on the dress code and behavior but in fact the whole visit was not worth it at all, unfortunately, just a ruined happy birthday dinner. The good thing was the wine and the location itself. Really hate to say it but we were very discouraged. Lots of things to be improved for this money.

My wife and I had a lovely 4 course candlelit dinner on the outside terrace at Chateau Mon Desire. The meal was complimentary as we were on honeymoon and our evening was made to feel both special and romantic. The service was faultless and the food was delicious, all served up with some great wine.
