I enjoyed my stay here and the horse riding on the beach was a fantastic highlight for me. The food and service was really nice with freshly made pancakes 🥞 for breakfast being something really special, my favourite ever I think! The hotel and surrounding hotels were all lovely with nice swimming pools and nature.

Hotel is well situated, rooms are ok but need some renovation as room are old. Poor dinner and breakfast even if it was buffet very limited choices. Need some improvement.

The Hilton hotel is nice.
It is very close to the beach. The restaurant is very good, though a bit expensive in comparison with the rest Mauritian restaurant.
The rooms are nice and clean.
However I'm not sure that having a window inside the bathroom (right in front of the toilets) is the best idea, eventhough you can close it.
The resort offers a lot of activities.
If you want to visit the island, expect to take a taxi as the city in not close to interesting places.response / report this review -

It was just an amazing place for holidays a place when you forgot everything a place when fun meet relaxation they have an amazing entertainment team that will take.great care of you the restaurants was delicious too the.fitness centre was well equipped with brain new equipment and the spa was very good too

I am a Diamond member of the Hilton Group and sleep on average around 60 nights per year in a Hilton hotel. This hotel was a nightmare. Completely overpriced for the rooms and the service. The staff is not trained well. Rooms are old and not renovated. When I spoke to the (French) hotel manager he was looking „surprised“ about my observations that I did during my 7 day stay. At least he gave me later a small discount on the bill. Compared to the total amount it was a joke. The hotel is absolutely overpriced. As much as I love Hilton and Waldorf - I can really NOT recommend to book this hotel. Maybe another hotel manager could at least manage the staff better.

Excellent facilities and location but the service is very sloppy. Be prepared to wait a long time for service if at all - we ordered a burger on our first day and a club sandwich: I got the burger after 30 mins or so - and over an hour later, the burger finally came! No one will proactively come to you to take your order - you need to keep on calling the waiters or getting up to get the menus and drinks for yourself - and then they may come!
There is no follow up here - unprofessional to say the least. You ask for one thing and have to keep on reminding them else it just will not happen. The night before we left we got an envelope with a note and the bill to review and they forgot to put the bill in the envelope!
Very sloppy service for a Hilton generally and one at this price!response / report this review -

Inimitable is a very loyal employee of the hotel. She was very accommodating, went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. The hotel was beautiful and lovely. Looking forward to returning. We were there the 23rd of November to the 30th of November 2017

When you have been to 5-star resorts around the world, this one definitely does not look or feel like one.
- Average room with okay-ish amenities and old appliances.
- Main pool has floating leaves and looks dirty most of the time.
- The open-air jacuzzi is most of the time out of service.
- The adult infinity pool is small and not with a lot of lounge chairs around; we witnessed people fighting for a spot. People tend to "reserve" their spots at daybreak until night-time. You'll be lucky if you manage to enjoy the adult pool during your stay.
- Gym is tiny!
- Food is good but not great; avoid the boring and tasteless French buffet!
The only outstanding thing is that the staff is amazing. All of them are very friendly and helpful.
Azaria Rose is the best bartender ever; he knows how to maintain a conversation, and how to keep his guests entertained and happy!response / report this review -

Definitely not a five star resort, slow service, meager portions and very very expensive for any drinks. As a result any entertainment put on flops as everyone is drinking local still water.at £3.50 a bottle!! The pools are constantly floating with leaves, beasties and debris. The rooms are basic to say the least. Stay away from the Thai restaurant, we were really disappointed The only saving grace is that it looks beautiful by touch light at night and they do a fantastic night time ceremony of lighting the torches. We came her as part of a multi stay, wish we could have gone back to Dubai instead of staying here. If you think you know Hilton, this will totally open your eyes. By far the worst Hilton experience, everything has a supplement and everything is way way too overpriced.

Nice hotel, positioned on the beach front with great facilities including a spa with gym, sauna and steam room. Great pools, one quieter one, and one designed more with children in mind. Tennis courts and a kids zone available. Rooms are nice, what you would expect from a Hilton. Things are getting a little dated however and starting to show their age. Large comfortable beds & daily housekeeping and turn down service. Mini bar in our room never had power so no cold drinks available. Quite a confusing light switch set-up in the room that we still hadn't really got the hang of after a week! Good size balcony at the front of the room overlooking the pool and sea. The hotel is located at what I would describe as the quieter end of Flic en Flac beach, with the main strip about 1km up the road. Many taxis always waiting outside the hotel however we hired our own car so no need for the taxi service. Staff were brilliant. Always polite and would do anything to help. October is outside of peak season and as such, a lot of the local shops and restaurants are very quiet/closed. There was certainly more life to the north of the island and also better weather (whether always the case of better weather or not I am not sure but it was the case for the week we were here). All 3 restaurants at the hotel were very nice. Good buffet at breakfast catering to all tastes, and the Thai and Gormet restaurants in the evening serving up very tasty food. In summary a very enjoyable and relaxing stay, but a few elements could do with a little modernisation to keep up with the times.

Nice place to stay. We booked room with full board package which works out cheaper if you gonna spend more time in hotel. Water sports was complimentary we enjoyed it. The thing I did not like was there wasn't any veg food during lunch and dinner time buffet. Which was really sad. I think its not a crime to be a veg in this world

If you are looking for a hotel with closeness to a town then Hilton Mauritius is a good choice, it located in Flic en Flac about an hour's drive away from the airport. It is close to a lot of the sights at the south part of the island and has a great sandy beach. The hotel is nice and mist rooms are a good size with a balcony where you can see the sea. They have two pools , one in the centre of the resort and a slightly smaller infinity pool. There plenty of sun chairs around the pool areas as well as the beach. They have a great selection of water sports equipment and free activities and excursions. The gym is located on the Spa and is a good size and has a great selection of machines and equipment. The Spa has a good list treatments and the staff are very friendly and helpful, however the prices are higher than other hotels on the island. Food and drinks are reasonably priced and good quality. Overall a very good resort, it would however benefit from an executive lounge and more targeted offers towards elite members, at the moment Westin is a much better value if you are top tier with both.

The hotel is quite and clean. The combination of colors in its garden is amazing. I loved the breakfast. Nice smell all the time. I recommend it for others!

Everything is perfect !!!

Had a dinner at hilton hotel and was really good food is excellent and staff are very welcoming and caring the hotel is really beatiful..

Awesome property, really luxurious. Rooms are spacious and beah facing prefer a room on ground floor.. as it gives you easy access to beach.
Sumptuous and delicious breakfast. Dinner options were plenty.. we particularly liked ginger thai.
They have free water sports, do take a paddle boat and chill around the beach. View to the sea particularly at sunset is awesome!!

Yes, the Hilton! Nothing compared to the service you would find in other Hilton hotels. The landscaping is "crowded". Last time I went there (2015) I was surprised to see so many chinese tourists just arriving for their holiday and "off loaded" by the dozens. Of course, a bit noisy to relax with big groups like that. My star rating is based on the Hilton's (Mauritius) policy in terms of large groups.
