St. Augustine is a Catholic church found on the quaint little square by the same name in the Historic City Centre of Macau, no more than a 5 minute walk from the heavily visited Senado Square.
Unlike St. Dominic's Church on nearby Senado Square, you will find far fewer visitors at St. Augustine Church, which was originally built in 1591 by the Spanish Augustinians. The church offers a neoclassical facade that is befitting of the Square and surrounding World Heritage attractions making for nice photographs.
The Interior nave is nice to see as well, featuring decorative doric columns and windows lined with relief plasterwork which complement the pastel yellow colour of the nave quite well. The feature highlight of the church is the statue 'Bom Jesus dos Passos' which rests behind the alter. You can walk back to the statue for a close look if interested.
In the end, this is a nice little church to visit in Macau and worth 10-15 minutes of your time if making the rounds of the Macau World Heritage attractions.
Note: There are daily tours of this historic church on Saturday and Sunday at 2pm and 4pm respectively. Sunday Mass is also held in Filipino (10.30am) and English (4pm) as well.response / report this review -

聖オーガスティン広場は世界遺産のひとつです。聖オーガスティン教会、ドン・ペドロ5世劇場、聖ヨゼフ修道院及び聖堂、ロバート・ホー・トン図書館という4つの美しい世界遺産を一望することが出来ます。石畳が美しかったです。大きな木の下で涼むのも良さそうです。
聖オーガスティン教会は1586年にスペイン人によって建設された教会です。毎年「パッソスの聖体行列」が行われています。聖オーガスティン教会に保管されていたキリスト像を大堂に移動させたが、いつのまにか誰の目に触れることもなく像が教会に戻ってきていたという出来事が元になっています。教会内は監視の目が厳しく写真が撮れませんでした。他の世界遺産から近いので、一緒に行くことをオススメします。response / report this review -

聖奧斯定堂旁邊是耶穌會友堂，對面是崗頂劇院，因逢內部整修因此沒能進入參觀，但其外觀和整個街道混然融成一片，不管欣賞建築外觀，或坐在旁邊，都是拍照取景好地方。值得細細品味。

1586年西班牙奧斯定會所建 。1874年重建呈現貌。教堂當初簡陋，樹葉蓋頂，猶如龍鬚。故又名龍鬚廟。

オーガスティン派の修道士たちによって、1586年に修道院がつくられた。これが聖オーガスティン教会の発祥で、以後何度かにわたり修復されたが、現在の建物は1874年に再建されたもの。淡い黄色の建物の色が美しい教会。
