  Pastelaria Chui Heong is famous for their almond cookies and other Macanese speciality snacks. They can be found on tiny Rua do Gamboa not far from Praca Ponte e Horta on the Macau Peninsula.
  
  Expect a queue formed outside this unassuming little shop. The line of waiting customers moves relatively quickly so don't worry if you are 15-20 deep when arriving. They will pass menus with pictures (Chinese only text) so you can see what is available and most order rather quickly.
  
  We enjoy the boxes of almond cookies (MOP30 for 10 cookies). The almond cookies are being made fresh on location and you can watch the entire process at the shop. This is just as enjoying as buying from this particularly pastelaria.
  
  As for the taste, there are those who swear by this place, calling it the best in Macau. They add large broken pieces of almond and they do taste good. Personally, not my favourite in Macau but Im happy to eat Pastelaria Chui Heong almond cookies when I can get my hands on them.
  
  Tip: Buy a box or two, take them home to enjoy with bold coffee. They go great together.

  Its so lucky I don't need to wait for a long time when purchasing, but its show up after I finish. You may smell it when you getting close to the shop, because they use charcoal to bake the almond cookies.
  
  The only one shop located in the old town of Macau. Just a little bit hard to find, but most of the citizen know the name of the shop, just ask for it.
  
  The pork with egg yolk almond cookies sold out very fast, the staff suggest to order early before you come. Otherwise, try your luck to purchase it before noon.

  The Biscuit with meat floss isn't filled with meat floss, only the top layer is covered. Quite disappointed.

  This is one of the oldest cookies bakery ( over 35 years) in Macau and they offer the best hand made charcoal grilled almond cookies . From here you can watch how each almond cookie is made . They have no other branch store . Walking to here through the little streets of Macau is already very enjoyable . Once you've tried the cookies here then you will know how delicious they are ! Must try when you are in Macau !!!
