Good food, very nice staff, not cheap
Amazing food and service. Everything was bomb. Flavours were amazing. Avocado salad, vegetarian spring rolls, and the lime and ginger tea. 😋
They also do bicycle rentals, it's the only place I could find mountain bikes for hire, instead of the normal street bikes. My tyre went flat during my day, they came with a replacement bike in 15 minutes! Good customer service and good bikes. Highly recommended.
Great burgers! We had the beef and veggie, real nice although the dish sizes were a bit small. Good location.
I like the wall where tourists or backpackers sign their name and a short note on the wall. Feel like reading a lot of stories of other travellers as you eat.
The lime and mint juice, and the ginger lime juice are great choices for a drink.
We loved that place, our favorite in Nyaung U! Very good food at reasonable price. We went there several times, ordering different dishes and it was always very tasty.
Staff super nice and friendly. Thank you!
A very busy dinner spot and for good reason- good food, great service. Go early, the ace gets full by 7:30. Their Burmese fish curry was absolutely fantastic, and the satay chicken skewer had a delicious chutney style peanut sauce. Just avoid using the toilet, they don't have their own so it's the shared public WC.
I have to evaluate the whole menus. So The Byrnes curry was good, the Thai curry not really Thai and the avocado salad was much too greasy. Not more than average. Staff very friendly. I read a lot that the burger shall be good!
Good food but small portions. The chicken breast was excellent. Get there by 6 pm to beat the dinner rush.
The food is definitely westernized, but that doesn't mean it can't get 5 stars! After a week in Asia a lot of us just wanted a burger and fries, and Weather Spoons delivered. Their Asian dishes were excellent too, the Thai curries in particular I thought were very flavorful.
The burgers here are pretty good. I loved the fish burgers and my kids loved the hamburgers. Food takes a while but is well worth the wait. Drinks/cocktails were excellent. Prices are pretty good!
If you start to miss western food in Bagan visit this place the burger is so good! While their thai and myanmar dish are also good!😊
Had a fish curry which was fresh, quite tasty.
The cucumber salad was also good.
My bf had a burger, it was huge. Could have been more seasoned.
The overall food was good although nothing that spectacular.
Everyone is right this time. Best place to eat in Bagan. Reasonable prices, good vibe, great food and staff.
Good food and great service. Very reasonable prices. We're had spring rolls, avocado salad and tea leaves salad-all tasty and around 2300 kyat each. Also very tasty mojito and g&t with what the waiter calls clean ice ;) Recommended!
Nice vibe. Very friendly owner. Ordered the tea salad, mutton curry and lime ginger drink, but the taste and presentation are adjusted for farang already, so don't go for local dishes, but perhaps, stick to its burger which it is known for.
Even in low season it can be a bit crowded, but only at certain times. The food is good taking into account its pricing and service.
We were here during low season so it was not as crowded as some of the other reviews indicated. However the food was still very good. I had the tomato salad which I enjoyed and the fish curry (specifically the curry soup itself) was fantastic.
Excellent Myanmar and Western food choices for carnivores and vegetarians alike. Salads are so refreshing, curry is incredibly flavorful with just enough spice, and mango sticky rice is on point. They also have a few cocktails that are simple and so refreshing. Service and wifi are the best we've had in Bagan. Five stars all around.
Great food at very reasonable prices! Sure, you can eat more cheaply in Myanmar, but a few extra kyat here goes a long way. I had the fish curry and ginger salad - both were flavorful and seemed fresh. The portions were also generous. Including a big beer, the whole meal cost about 8,000 kyat.
Perfect place! Really nice, nice people working there. You can eat everything: Myanmar typical food, thai good, western food. We tried a burger and a fish curry, both amazing! Highly recommended! Ciao guys!!
Nice restaurant/ bar with a range of western and Asian food done well. Open at the sides similar to most places here. Staff speak English and know the western market well. Usually pretty busy. Probably not the place you want to go if you want a western toilet however.
Me and my family chose this restaurant because of top rating by TripAdvisor. We ordered one chicken burger, two fried rice and one fried vermicelli (which was very delicious) cost total 15200 ks. Waited for a while because this is just a family run business (I saw only 3 persons). The owner said current shop is the new one (moved from another location). Unfortunately, the toilet is a bit far from the restaurant. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Free WiFi is available. In my opinion, this restaurant is a bit overrated but deserves my rating 4 stars.
Basically THE place to be in Bagan.
We found Weather Spoon's to be always packed with happy, chatting people. Be prepared to share a table with a stranger if it gets crowded and be prepared to make some new friends. The burgers are amazing and many people stay beyond the food for a few drinks and a laughter.
Tremendous little restaurant with lovely staff!
Just ate the fish and chips, which were very good. The chips in particular were delicious - especially once doused in vinegar (available on request!) The gin and tonic was generous on the gin and very nice.
So good we came back. Further to the above, the Myanmar beef curry is delicious - fairly bland by Asian standards but that suited me perfectly, it's hard to imagine anyone not liking it. The mojitos are also perfect!! I wouldn't recommend the Pad Thai but all other food tried was delicious!
