Great place to stay and eat! Amazing breakfast choices.. great rooftop patio for relaxing and having an amazing Shan dinner! Superb casual ambiance overall.. and good rooms at great value!

Really nice place for me to stay when first arriving! The staff were really helpful directing me places & helping with luggage. The roof top is great & really nice food! I had a single private room with good wifi, air con & water pressure! All essentials! Thanks for having me!

Best B&B inYangon! The owner is the sweetest woman ever, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the neighborhood is super cool. Not to mention the rooftop and the food! 5 stars from Norway!

Clean, basic & simple budget accommodation. The staff mostly speak simple English but make up for it by being ultra friendly & helpful. But be prepared for a mini workout when having breakfast as there's no lift & you have to climb 5/6 flights of stairs. There's a also few privately operated gyms nearby (if you're into this) accessible for a small entrance fee (3000 Kyat per pax - as of 2017 Oct).
Wai Wai's Place is conveniently located near a wet market where you can catch a glimpse of the local life. There's a slightly more "modern" shopping centre (Dagon Center) about 15 min walk away. Suggest you Google map your way as the streets can be confusing.response / report this review -

Great place to be first introduced to Myanmar culture and delicious Shan food. The sisters are overly helpful and hanging out on the rooftop terrace offers an escape from the bustling San Chaung area. Good location when you want to explore morning market and traditional Yangon neighbourhood.

So accommodating and friendly - allowed us to check in early on the morning of our stay and served us up a delicious breakfast the same day and the next morning.
Always jumped to help carry our (heavy) bags, allowed us to store them after we had checked out and helped arrange taxis. Room was clean and comfortable too.
The location was right in the midst of bustling streets with markets, 30 minute walk to Shwedagon Pagoda and a 30 minute taxi to downtown.response / report this review -
