  UCT Taunggyi Hotel is a superior class hotel.
  Locate near downtown and have 5th floor.
  Fair price and suitable service.
  
  Remark: Before you choose your room at 3rd 4th and 5th floor search elevator.
  Thay have 5th floor building but NO ELEVATOR in hotel.

  Because there is no lift or elevator. It is hard to climb stairs upto 4th level floor.

  Very nice hotel at a decent price of USD 45 per night. There is in hotel room service but the kitchen closes around 8-9pm. Great buffet breakfast featuring local food. No elevator at the time of my visit so take a lower floor if ascending stairs isn't your forte. Nice flatscreen TV in room with iffy reception on most channels, but still you get a decent handful of programming. A/C works great, but you probably won't need it. Taunggyi is pretty cool. Bathrooms are very nice as well with hot/cold water. They even provide two types of sandals per room. Wifi is decent as per the standard in the country, just don't expect blazing speeds. The fridge is stocked and the upcharge is not so bad. Staff is super friendly and accomodating. Underground parking available. Don't pay in Local Currency (Kyats) they will profit from the exchange rate. Pay in USD.
  
  TL:DR Nice hotel for such a low price. Good Internet. Free Continental Buffet Breakfast. Excellent service/staff. Flatscreen TV +30" (roughly). No elevator. Ripoff exchange rates. Don't pay local currency. Use USD.

  Very comfortable and spacious rooms. Try the Shan noodles at breakfast. Delicious. They charge in USD, so if you're paying in Kyats, don't let them give you a bad exchange rate.

  No elevator,good view,near downtown,near post office,University.Market.clean.but its need to give more blanket to guests in winter.its very cold. Its not comfortable to wheelchair.upset.
