My best gastronomic experience in Myanmar! And it happened to be one of the cheapest ones as well. At a lovely setting with views of pagodas, beautiful at sun light during the day and gorgeous when illuminated at night. The food was fenomenal. If I could I would hire the chef to be my private cook home in New York. The owner is a travel guide and he speaks fantastic English, had I known I would had booked him to be my guide. Most of local guides have basic English.

Five star service made it a five star restaurant. We had beef curry, prawn vermicelli and aubergine salad. Too bad the salad tasted a little burnt, otherwise the ingredients and texture could be perfect. House wine made a winderful company and free fresh fruits served as after-meal dessert. The whole premise was clean, serene, overlooking a tidy garden and a pagoda. Would love to come back again!

Best restaurant we had in the whole Bagan area during the week. The food was way better than the busy restaurants in NyaungU, although a bit further away from the city, this is the place to go if you have a chance to stop by this small village. The atmosphere is wonderful. Food, view, quiet place, superb service in the place all contributes to a 5 star restaurant. Definitely worth coming again and again.

Great place. Magic atmosphere with view on the temples. Staff pampered us as 5 star service in a such simple place. We will come back.

What a restaurant highlight randomly found in Bagan. It is an absolutely lovely place with a great view from all the tables into a nice garden and adjacent pagodas.
Food was very well and service was superior!
Despite that place is not in the central area it is worth to visit.response / report this review -

What a magical dinner! We escaped the Christmas entertainment at Bagan Lodge and ebiked here with our guide (not far at all). The setting of the restaurant is beautiful and they set up our table right in the middle of the lawn to enjoy the view even more. It was also very quiet and I'm not sure why we were the only diners. It was wonderful! The owner is a gem and I wish I had a bigger stomach because it was way too much to eat but I was thankful to sample all those dishes. The kids loved their fried rice, I thought the ginger drink and the lentil soup were super. Hubby's fave was the chicken potato curry. We all highly recommend!!!

Awesome little restaurant, with the friendliest people ever. Food was really nice and eating whilst looking at the temple 50 metres from the garden was good, but it was the friendliest service that set this place apart. A little tucked away. Highly recommend.
