Good western food and very expensive. But I didn't know that they will add an extra 15% for tax and service charge in to the bill, they bring us water which made me think it is free but it is in charged. We were not so hungry so we only called 2 dishes, one large portion and one small portion, no starter,no dessert, no drinks. It was about USD30

It's a close approximation of a western restaurant. The service is great and the food is pretty good. For a restaurant on the western hemisphere it would probably only be 3 stars but as these places go here, it's a 4.

Sharky's owned establishment in Mandalay. Hit and miss. Dinned here often enough that I've had everything on the menu. I keep on coming back because its the only decent western restaurant near where I stay whenever I'm im Mandalay for work.

Been living in Myanmar for a couple of months, Mandalay for about a week. Bistro 82, yes, was slightly pricey by Myanmar standards. But the meal was excellent: perfectly prepared and tasty grilled chicken with dipping sauces, simple but well done veggie sides, bottle of decent wine. Friendly and very efficient service. Relaxed enjoyable experience and a good place to go as a break from the excellent Myanmar cuisine.

Great place. Top quality food (western menu), at very reasonable prices. Their menu is online. Great wine list too.

Untypical stylish restaurant with very good (western-style) food. Prices and Quality are higher than other restaurants in the area.

The food is good not great, definitely not worth the price point, service not at par with other restaurants, was there in the afternoon, we were the only guest, and they were talking so loudly amongst themselves it was difficult for us to have a decent conversation.

    Typical western food but pricey

It's really good taste European style. Highly over price menu. It Could be one time- try restaurant. Environment is clean and quiet. Hopefully they do price survey and adjust menu price to generate more business.

It's ok Probably not worth the price premium but it isn't bad. I would give it a 3.5 if I could. Not quite good, but definitely not bad.

It wasn't bad - but it wasn't amazing. The service level felt somewhat lacking and the food tasted like typical western food but was no better than what you'd find at any western restaurant all over the world. It was a nice change to traditional Myanmar cuisine (which is also delicious) but the relative price differences are a bit crazy. This was decent western cuisine at prices that would still raise an eyebrow in western cities, let alone somewhere like Myanmar which has much cheaper food options everywhere.

I'm a little confused by the consistently high ratings but maybe we went there on an off day.

Steak was bad. I don't know if it rest too long or place too long. I cannot feel the expected temperature of it. I ordered medium but only central part is medium. If they cut the price half, I am ok with that. Yet, with such a high price, it is not my choice. The only good thing is that there is an air-conditioned restaurant. It is rare in Myanmar. Yes, and the cocktail is ok.
