A comfortable pretty hostel near Sule Pagoda. Space Boutique Hostel is at the 3rd floor of a shop house, so you have to look for the sign carefully. The girl officer speaks English better than the boys, but both are friendly and helpful. Our dorm is clean, towel is provided. The communal room is equipped with TV, books, coffee maker (from 7AM to 4PM), and bar chairs facing the window. So we may enjoy the street scene of Yangon from above. The shower rooms are spacious and clean, hot water runs well. Breakfast is much better than I thought, a staff prepared omelette, bread, and banana for us. This is one of best deal in Yangon, we paid around 8 USD / person / night.

A great hostel in the heard of Yangon. I have been there 2 times. One time in their dorms and recently in a private room. Both times I was highly pleased. Staff is superfriendly and helpful. The dorms are modern and spacious. The only drawback is that the entrance is a bit hidden and one will have to ask the businesses on the first floor to show them the access staircase. It is a few floor climb via stairs.

please don't expect too much, but after all the price is reliable because your‘re so close to the usually expensive centre.

of cause a challenge: finding the very small entrance and climbing 3 floors. best one of you goes up first and gets a hand for your luggage.

drinking water is available 24/7 - but from time to time you should remember the staff to refill.

at least the very helpful manager and one of the front desk guys are good and reliable English-speakers.

Before reaching the place, you need to climb up to 3floor and encounter the stinky smell of urine and tobacco spits after that the Hostel crew deserves a commendation
    The room is clean..
Language barrier is not that difficult :-)

Great service and location. 1. Front desk speak good English. 2. They cook you breakfast 3. It was raining outside and they walked me out with umbrella. 4. Staff sleeps on the couch at 5:30am to make sure you can ask for help. 5. Location is right next to Sule Pagoda. 6. Staff are always around and smiling. This should be the go to place for backpackers. Only downside is the entrance. It is hard to locate the entrance, so I took a pic.

Good place and near the center of the city.
People cam even walk to the zoo with an hour long. Recommend for budget travel. But the toilet is a bit small.

Very friendly helpful staff! Had trouble finding the public bus service to Aungmingalar Bus Station and got the help of the staff to help me flag down a taxi and talk to the driver. Place is also very clean and well maintained. It's hard to find the place at street level so it's better to use GPS to get to the vicinity, look for the signboard overhead and you'll find the staircase leading up :)

Nice, clean, cheap, great location. Can be a tad loud at night though - it is a central location - so would recommend one of the rooms without a window.
