This was the best restaurant we visited during our trip to Myanmar. Service was excellent and food was awesome! The interior in the restaurant is not that appealing but the food and service makes up for it.
Best fish and service I had during my Myanmar and Thai trip. They speak English and an English menu card is available. All for a fair price!
Excellent service and a wide range of food selection. Price are reasonable for all food n drinks. Centrally located in the town, just beside the market.
02/12/18. Came here for dinner. I was surprised by how polite and customer-oriented they were. Food was also really good. We ordered fried baby marrow leaves (pumpkin leaves), Shan style minced chicken, 2 rices and a beer (10500kyats); more than enough for 2 people because their portion is bigger than other places. Snack is free too. Loved their service the most!
Good service and nice waiter. Worth to visit during the night time and very clean environment. The food is local and very good experiences!
Really loved the avocado salad (off menu item) and also enjoyed the fresh fish with ginger. Super tasty! Didn’t really care for the tea leaf salad and they actually offered to exchange it which is rare in South East Asia. Friendly service, definitely recommend stopping by. Best place I ate at in Inle.
This people realy do understand, what someone from Europe want. Authentic local food, nice service and clean place. Service was great! Small little things like - offering a snack, candle, smile, cleaning table and offering us wipes for hands etc. And the food was great! We ordered vegetarian variation of local food with sticky shan noodles. The food made us happy!
Delicious food and super friendly staff. Refreshing tower when you enter, after going to the toilet.
Exchanges one dish which was too spicy, no hassle, quite the contrary. Went there twice.
Try the fresh fish, any of them, so good, but also just the shan Noodles.
I only had lunch there. It more than met my expectations. The ginger lemon tea was delicious and it came with a jar of honey per my request. The Inle home made wheat noodle with chicken was delicious and provided a welcome change from rice noodles. The service was quick and with a smile. After I was seated I was served with a sanitary wipe and was asked if I needed a mosquito spray. There was also a clean western toilet in the back.
Delicious food - everything we ordered was very tasty. Reasonably priced. Great customer service too. We went twice and I’d happily go again.
Great food. Loved the grilled fish. Good range of beverages to choose from. Good and friendly service, with staff being able to speak English. Give the banana with rum a try. If not, the fried banana is good too.
Really delicious fresh food. Get the tasting platter for two costing £6.50, a great way to taste the local dishes. Friendly helpful and attentive staff.
Great food! We had the deep fried fish, baby marrow and the lime ginger juice - so good. Fragrant and not too salty. Just right. Service was also excellent. No regrets.
Love love love this restaurant. Maybe the best Burmese place we've tried in our 2 weeks in Myanmar.
- Awesome staff: very polite and welcoming. Always smiling. Gives you wet wipes when you arrive, and after you've finished eating.
- Great & unique food: menu explains well the dishes and highlights in bold the recommendations.
We went there twice.
First time, had the deep fried inle lake style fish with tomato and spring onion. The fish is obviously fresh, skin a bit crispy.
We did not order right, as we had a tofu with tomato sauce and spring onion so it was repetitive, but good also. My bf who does not like tofu in general really liked it, as it doesn't have the tofu taste
Cucumber salad: fresh but nothing spectacular.
Second time: we knew we didnt order right so we wanted to go back our last day and give it another shot.
Pork tempura was the unique. Crispy, not chewy, not oily. perfectly well seasoned. Big highlight of the day.
Pan fried fish fillet: no bone, crisp on the outside and so soft on the inside. The peanut butter sauce was so tasty and perfect as a dipping sauce.
Shan sticky noodles: ok, but no meat, it's good as a staple.
The prices are very affordable. We went there on full moon day and it was opened, unlike many local businesses. On that day, there were many locals having lunch - no wonder why!
Will def come back if i get the chance to be back in the area.
Best food in Myanmar! Take the lunch set menu for 10,000k. You won't regret it!
Tasty and local food. Cheap price for a restaurant and nice staff. Plus, the owner is really passionate about products, the history of the region, tribes, etc. Really interesting to eat there and talk with him.
Friendly, knowledgeable staff who are able to explain the menu and make good recommendations for delicious food. Fish is excellent!
Customer service at Sin Yaw is excellent!
Delicious food and very friendly staff. We had whole steamed fish and it was tender and juicy, the chili sauce is tangy and made me savor every bite. The sliced pork salad was flavorful and refreshing. Highly recommend!
Excellent Shan noodles for under 2cad, they clearly care about quality.
Very very delicious Shan food. One of the best in whole Myanmar. Incredible smiling face helpful staff. Very reasonable price. Not to miss. Try tomato salad, tempura and wather grass with mushroom
Discovered this place by accident. Good service for a decent price and a lovely place to do people watching
Sin Yaw is a must try.. their fried Shan noodles are excellent and fairly priced. Another must try is the steamed whole fish and don't be shy of eating the prawn crackers with the chilli sauce - they too are delicious. Lastly this is one of the few restaurants where service is friendly (common for Myanmar) but what's set it up apart is the staff always being around to help with orders or questions.
Really excellent local food. The menu is extensive but they highlight the best of local food. The salads (particularly the tomato salad and the tea leaf salad) are sublime. The BBQ pork was very good too. Lovely staff to boot.
