  Extremely popular at sunset. Be warned if you don't like tight dark staircases with steep steps but the view at the top is well worth it. The pagoda has sustained some damage due to the recent earthquake and there is a line where it was not safe to step on.
  Only thing that spoiled it for me was three foreigners smoking at the top. I watched them stub out their cigarettes on an ancient pagoda. PEOPLE!!! When going to a foreign land please respect the culture. Especially when there are signs asking you not to smoke around the ruins.
