A really good Thai tourist visa application, the first day I arrived at 9.30am and it took 10 minutes to hand in my application and $40, and I came back the next day at 1.30pm and it took 10 minutes to collect. One of the best visa processes I have done.

Very arrogant and bad customer service , not allowing Taiwanese to apply for a visa at this place unlike the rest of the world where Taiwanese never encounter restriction and are allowed to apply for a visa
Taiwanese no need any visa going to US, UK, all European nations, Japan, China, Korea, etc.
Is Thailand conditionally better than any of the above listed great countries which offers 24 hour visa waiver to Taiwan ?
If not, poor Thailand should follow great countries listed above and offer visa waiver to Taiwanese right away.
Or elseThe current ambassador should resign right away to give way to an ambassador with a brain who would help Thailand earning much much more foreign currency

Me and my boyfriends has been calling the Embassy last three days and both of our phone run out credit, no anybody pick up the phone. We tried to ask if we need necessary documents for applying tourist visa. Today I asked a leave from my work to go to the embassy, then they told me that I need FRC to apply, if we need it, why don't show on the website, or someone can answer the phone? It is not so convenient at all.

I do not reside in Myanmar (but Europe) and was able to apply for a 3 months tourist visa at this Thai Embassy in Yangon (Myanmar). Bring: 2 photo id, 40 USD in brand new state, hotel booking for first couple of nights in Thailand, flight booking for entering Thailand, flight booking for leaving Thailand. If you do not have USD with you, or the USD bank notes you bring are rejected, you can go at the exchange bureau next to the embassy (1 minute walk, search for "northern breath" on google map) to get these brand new looking USD bank notes. Visa processing time is 24h.

Unreasonable requirements to possess a return ticket and hotel booking even purchasing a tourist visa from this place. If visa application got rejected, not mentioning the non-refundable visa fee, what would happen to to my non-refundable return ticket and hotel booking. Hope the Myanmar government demand this place to compensate all loss including expense of flight ticket, hotel booking and visa application to people who get rejected of their visa application here.
As long as this place set this unreasonable rule of requiring return ticket and hotel booking, I would never consider visiting Thailand and instead spend my money to smart countries such as Malaysia, etc where tourist visa is free and no 180 bath ripoff fee for each atm withdrawal.

I went at 11am and the line was short. They stop accepting applications at 11:30. Education visa processing is one day. I'm glad I came here rather than going to Laos, but the cost may be higher here.
Myanmar visa $50 (can get online) and Thai ed visa $80. Be sure to bring crisp new USD.

I went to "Royal Thai Embassy" a few days ago to apply Visa. Since i'm a local businessmen staying at Myawady i need a Visa to go to Bangkok via Mae Sot. I needed to travel all night to come to Yangon. I've been to Thailand many times before and have good relationship with Thai companies and Thai people.

The staff at Visa counters asked me for return tickets. I tried to explain them that i'm going via Mae Sot so i cannot show them valid tickets. They asked again for Yangon-Myawady-Yangon Bus tickets. I went to buy tickets and show them original and copy of tickets. They told me mine is fake, i asked them to call the bus station and enquire about it. They doesn't and kept telling me to bring the "real tickets".

Someone was applying next counter with the fake tickets they just bought from black-market just outside of the Embassy and yet the staff accept it. Why is my real tickets are not accepted and fake ones are accepted ? Why illegal business is allowed just ouside of Embassy and why the staffs are accepting it ?

Me and my cousins brothers are visiting Yangon-BaAn-MaeSot-Bangkok-Phuket-Yangon this holiday. So they need Visa, they are just kids so i prepared documents for them. During Thingyan holiday, no express Bus are pre-selling their tickets. I had to explain again to that woman at the Visa counter. My cousins have been to Thailand before so i thought they wouldn't need much documents. She can just scan the passport and see every detail in her computer. She wouldn't mind, she's busy with her phone using facebook ! Can you believe it ? "Royal Thai Embassy" should put some surveillance camera and check how your staffs are behaving. We're tourists. We're spending money on your country on purpose of leisure, not stealing.

I have total respect and understading to Thailand's rule and regulations. It's not about the rule, it's the staffs especially that woman with brown skin, short height, some pimples on her face. I understand that is Embassy not Bureau of Investigation. Next time, I'd rather pay 10,000 ks to black-maketers outside of Embassy and have my Visa easily with fake documents because the staffs tend to think fake documents are real.
