Why not move the Embassy to Naypyidaw. Rangoon is not the capital anymore. it is as stupid as having the US embassy in Tel Aviv even though the Israeli Capital is in Jerusalem

Why isn't the United States and the media in general talking about the Rohingya genocide?? Why isn't the United states stating the issues that are currently happening against the Rohingya. This is the first genocide occurring in the 21st century and no one is mentioning it!! These muslims are being killed just because they have different beliefs! I thought that the Unites States cared about others, cared about humanity, cared about innocent people.

Why The US Embassy/Consulate at Burma, the Burmese staff members are very RUDE? We cannot even ask a very piece of question thru the ph to the burmese Receptionist why!? Especially the Karin female staffs are very Rude and Disrespectful to the callers. She raises her voice with angry and aggressive manner! There is a burmese saying " Instead of calling the US embassy in Burma, Rather Dare to grab Tiger's Tail." They are talking about the Rudeness of the Burmese Receptionist.

I recently noted that Ambassador Mitchell will be leaving his post here in Myanmar, and I wanted to publicly thank him and his staff for the outstanding job that they have done in an environment that at times can be stressful, ambiguous, and thankless. I was fortunate to have been here the entire time from his original selection, to his later appointment as Ambassador and although he is not a career Foreign Service Officer, he is the embodiment of what the corps should strive for. Hopefully we will have an open house at the Embassy for US Citizens to offer you our thanks before you finish your tour here.

    Sincerely
William R Parks, American Citizen, Taxpayer, and Vietnam War Veteran
