Positive: nice setting (especially in the evening) / great balanced and flavoured Indian cuisine / very good service / prices
Negative: can't think of any
Overall: there are plenty of restaurants in Bagan but not are good ones. This one surely is.

Best Dinner we had in Bagan! We had the Veggy-Curry with Puri and it was amazing! We got additional Salad, two Bananas and tamarind candy for free and the family running the business is very nice and takes good care of their guests. We regret, that we tried other restaurants in Bagan instead of just coming back.

Three of us ate here on 2 evenings in December. We ate at other restaurants in Bagan, but the fact that we returned here is evidence of how much we enjoyed the chapatis and curries (meat & vege) here. The couple who run the restaurant are so welcoming, we could not recommend the place more.

we ordered the vegetable curry with chapati. both were okay, but nothing special. i found the curry too watery and salty. I don't think they make the chapati with ghee, so that took away from the flavor I was expecting. very nice service and kind staff.atmosphere is okay, but nothing special.

I had lunch and twice dinner there during my 3 days in Bagan. The food is really really good and the family is very nice and friendly. I always got some extras when eating there, peanuts, tomato salad, bananas and tamarin candies as dessert.The place looks very simple but relaxed. At night they have a lot of lanterns in the garden :)

A small but so nice place for chapati with burmese curry. The staff was so nice and after the meal you get mango and tamarind candy for free which was a nice touch! Good price for Bagan as well.

Best meal I had in Bagan! The owners are so nice and make absolutely amazing food. I got the chapati with veggie curry and cucumber juice. They give some nice extras with the meal too. I wish I could have had more meals here!

Fantastic place! Owners a really sweet. Good prices. Indian curry is delicious! They serve it with cabbage and naan. Indian food cooked with Myanmar culinary influence. Would highly recommend stopping by.

Very good restaurant! We had the Chapartee and the pure with chicken curry, the portions are really big, so I don't know what the other guy is talking about. Every dish came with rice and cabbage salad. Also we had free fruit desert. The staff is super friendly!

The chapartee is so good!! Chicken, salad, rice and bread. Yummy!! And so much food, we were 2 and we ordered only one plate. The place is nice at night with all the little lights, and they were really nice and friendly :)

Das Royal 2 sticht besonders durch seine außergewöhnliche Beleuchtung ins Auge, die dem Restaurant eine schöne Atmosphäre verleiht. Das indische Essen ist durchweg lecker und das Personal ist aufmerksam und freundlich. Daher eine klare Empfehlung!!!
