Nobody comes here for the pagoda itself, but rather, for the view of the river from this spot. You can also find vendors of all sorts in this area, and people offering boat tours/rides from here as well.

freshly made Fried shimps are one of the best in Bagan.

Bupaya Pagoda is located directly on the Irrawaddy River and can be easily reached by taking a Myanmar river cruise or ferry.

Buddhist temple is the place of worship for Buddhists, the followers of Buddhism. They include the structures called vihara, stupa, wat and pagoda in different regions and languages. Temples in Buddhism represent the pure land or pure environment of a Buddha.

These magnificent historical temples were constructed between the 11th and 13th centuries, in the prosperous Kingdom of Bagan.

I can see the Bagan beautiful Irrawaddy river sunrise and sunset from this buddha temple.

It locate beside irrawaddy river and form this pagoda you can ride boats to go Tant Kyi Taung Pagoda. This place has car parking and restaurents. Also you can buy local product for gift. The pagoda is rebuild after earthquake after 1960 big earthquake because the original pagoda sink in irrawaddy river. Place is good for children and for buddhist.

This temple was a little disappointing. There is not much to see and its also not a quiet atmosphere. However, if you come to enjoy a good view if the river it might be a good place, especially during sunset.

One of old Bagan's oldest phayas or stupas. Bu Paya is egg shaped and overlooks the mighty Irawwady River.

It's great to go here early in the morning when the crowd isn't that many.
