Picked the place for a quick night before an early flight. I walked over from the airport at around 20:00 and it was completely dark. Quite tricky to find, especially with the muddy street leading up to the place feels rather dodgy. Anyways, the place is clean. The street dogs fierce. And the mosquitoes fiercer. Good as a cheap place to catch an early flight.

It's ok, if you're looking for a place for a night by the airport and have a flight to catch. Otherwise, I won't recommend the place.

他のレビューで酷評されていますが、寝泊まりする分には充分なホステルだと思います。玄関は鍵を掛けないようなので、自分の部屋はちゃんと施錠すべし。自分が泊まったときは蚊が飛んでいたので気になる方は虫除けを。ホストは素朴な良い人でした。日本のアニメが好きだとか。

Das Hostel ist mehr eine Garage, als ein Hostel. Wifi nur im Aufenthaltsbereich, im Schlafraum. (6 Betten auf 10qm) stinkt es, Fenster kann nicht geöffnet werden. Toiletten und Dusche waren sauber. Der Besitzer plapperte den ganzen Abend 'Guten Abend' wie ein Papagai. Zum Flughafen nur 700m.

Well.. I do not know where to start. This was the worst stay in our 10-day Myanmar trip! It will be a long review with a lot of exclamation marks.
Arrived this hostel after a 9-hour night bus from Mandalay at about 7:00 am. The owner wasn't around, however the main door was unlocked so we came in easily (security issues!). We couldn't find the owner for a while and after he showed up, he did not say a word such as a simply "welcome"or "good morning"! At first I thouhgt that he was an another guest, however found out he is the actual owner/host with a suprise. This was the most and actually only unwelcoming reception we had seen in Myanmar.
Although we didn't request an early check-in, he started to tell us that we had arrived too early and had to wait untill 2:00 pm, our room was not ready etc. He was extremely rude and irritating while saying these, and we were just shocked and felt uncomfortable against his "hostile" manner apart from our tiredness. The funny part is, he suddenly decided to let us in to a double room after a while which I saw ready with a wide open door while entering the hostel. I thought it was for some other guest(s)!
The room.. Even though a double room was described as a 26 m2 room in the hostel's booking page; the actual room was just 10 m2 max. and it looked more different than the photos provided! It was like a cell just enough for the bed more than a room actually. Also there were bed bugs bite you while sleeping. I'm still itching after 3 days! All the shared bathrooms and toilets were awkwardly located just in the middle of common relaxing/dining areas with little privacy, and quite far from the rooms. One shared toilet out of 3 was broken. The breakfast were just toast, jam and peanut butter so I wouldn't call it a breakfast, but maybe a snack or something like that. The room with this breakfast is very very very overpriced and is not worth a cent!
I cannot tell enough how weird the host/owner was. While we were trying to sleep in our room, he started to play a very loud music in the common area and sing a song at the same time at about 10:15 in the morning! We woke up because of this and my husband had to go and tell him to switch it off. Also he constantly asked us to pay. Even though we said that we prefered to pay while checking-out he asked, asked, and asked.. Eventually we paid in the evening of our stay before check-out time. Asking for money was the only thing he opened his mouth to speak to us while we were there.
Because of this horrible host/owner and his reflections to the hostel, we literally run away next morning before our planned time of leaving. Even though we stayed only for a night, we felt most uncomfortable ever and it was like being in a horror movie!
In our almost 15-years of travelling around the world and accommodations at lots of different hotels, hostels, guest houses etc. it was the most terrible and shocking one. I/We have never felt this much uncomfortable before. That is why I wrote a very long review that I usually don't. The words are not enough for our disappointment actually..
Last but not least, DO NOT ever stay at this hostel! Never! Choose another one in the same area even with the low rates if your concern is an early/late flight, or just sleep in the airport. It would be much much better!response / report this review -

Wir sind selten in einem hostel irgendwo auf der Welt so unfreundlich behandelt worden. Während wir versuchten mit dem jungen Mann am Empfang einige Dinge zu besprechen (Taxi zum Flughafen, Restaurant zum Abendessen) lief er mehrmals einfach mitten im Gespräch weg und ließ und stehen um nach mehren Minuten wieder aufzutauchen. Zudem bekamen wir auf unsere Fragen entweder keine oder nur halbherzige Antworten. Selten hat jemand dermaßen sein Desinteresse gezeigt und sich in seiner ganzen Art unangenehm verhalten.
