Staff very friendly, a few free water bottles on arrival. Room ok but basic for Western standards - we stayed in one without AC, which was fine since it gets a little cooler in evenings. We had a few mosquitoes in the room. Pricy for what it is, but that's due to the location, which is fantastic. You don't get to see the Pagoda from the room but a beautiful view of sunrise instead. Breakfast is fine, but also not exceptional. Still probably best option if you need/want to stay around the Pagoda area on the top of the mountain.

It`s very comfortable to stay there if someone wants to visit Golden Rock (Kyaikhteeyoo) Pagoda. The meals are delicious too.

Pretty good hotel by Myanmar standards. If you were to compare it with the US it's about the same as a decent motel. The scenery is beautiful. Food here is average and expresses westernization with a slight Burmese season. Note: There's a lot of moths here.

The view from this hotel was one of the best I've ever experienced! Rooms were quite dated and plain but in my eyes the view made up for this. ** Make sure you ask for a room looking East, or else you're stuck looking at grass.
Each hallway had a staff member to help if I was locked out or for checkout. The dinner and breakfast buffers were OK.

Best hotel in town but still more to be improved.
Semi-clean room.
Bathroom is dirty and no shower room so you just shower next to toilet bowl.

Good hotel for the location but pretty average in general. Musty smelling room. Very expensive food and drinks. Great view and for the location it's your best option

Stay for a night on 25 feb 2017 . I'm booking for family room maximum guest for 6 person only pay for 60$ .The room are clean enough and good barthroom .the room size are big too ,and also have a bar you can get some food and drink close at 10 pm. Good deal for family trip. I like it 🖒🖒🖒🖒🖒

Stayed for a night in late Jan. Nice hotel except the beds and shower jets sucks. Water temperature difficult to adjust. Hotel entrance , It has a welcoming look, we liked it. Wifi only at lobby areas. We stayed room 103, just right at a level down staircase from breakfast place. This room can see very nice sunrise. Breakfast place has very panoramic view. Walking distance to Golden Rock. Breakfast is simple but nice. Breakfast place staffs are really attentive and initiate to ask if you need more coffee, when water spill, they will quickly come over to help, I must say they have have very good service!
