  This airport was surprising good and organised with lagging in time behind. Our plane did an emergency landing. The service was quick, food, wifi, charging was manged quickly which are not available on their layout (charging ports). The staff were friendly. Really unexpected this kind of service from a less developed looking airport. The first appearence was old and less facilities. But it was complete surpeise inside. Because its an international airport.

  Chan Mya Thazi airport is a local airport in Mandalay. The airport has been not used since the inauguration of Mandalay International Airport (MDL) in Tada-U township.
  
  In January, 2018 it was the venue of the offering and donation ceremony to 20,000 sanghas (Buddhist monks) from Myanmar and Thailand.
