  Nice and very tranquil compared to nearby Shwedagon Paya. It's also a good spot to relax in the shadows on a hot day.

  Mahar Wizaya Pagoda is located near the Southern Stairway of Shwe Dagon Pagoda in Dagon Township. So when you visit Shwe Dagon Pagoda be sure to make time to also spend time at Mahar Wizaya Pagoda. It is open every day from 5:00am to 10:00pm.

  The inside is made to look like a forest and it is very different from most of the other pagodas so worth a visit
