Real Bamboo Buddha. Never found in other Buddhist countries at the present.

I found this monastery a bit strange, but very calm and full of charming people. The strange part was that when I visited there were many civilians and monks laying on bamboo mats with blankets in the Bamboo Buddha hall, as though they had slept there that night. But the place has a serenity to it no matter what noises and conversation are going on around, and it is worth stopping in.
