There is a lady selling tickets right next to the entrance tunnel. Seating is available. Switching from one direction to another involves walking across the tracks so be careful. Persons with limited mobility may have difficulty boarding the trains, as platform ia not raised.

From here, you can go to some of the famous local places like Kyee Myin Taing night marke, which only opens starting from evening, and to the Kyee Myin Daing railway station which is an old colonial era building.
You can get buses from here to get almost anywhere of Yangon also.
