Filthy place, first room smelled like fresh paint. Breakfast finishes at 8:30 which is way too early. Don't go there. It's just nasty

The place didn't look like the photos and there were several different disgusting smells coming from every other place (elevator, minibar, bathroom, toilet). The building was not only old and badly maintained, it was also filthy. The contents of the minibar were sticky, there were ants in the beds and the floor was sandy. To be honest it was only $20 for a twin bed room, but in Mandalay you could do a lot better for that money. The staff was friendly enough, but they would not take our USD 20 bill from 2006 because they said it was too old.
