Kan Thar Market is one of the markets of Magway. There have plenty of vegetables, so many kinds of meat and fruits. It open all day so you can get anything you like at anytime. It was opened around 4:00 am to about 5:00pm. Fresh vegetables, tasty foods and nice fresh fruits are selling by vendors. People come to Kan Thar Market are mostly government employees and company employees. And people who live in quarters around the Kan Thar Market such as Kan Thar, Myin Thar, University, Yan King, Yan Myo Naing, Yan Aung and Ywar Thit are coming to here to buy anything they like. The market is very crowded at the morning. You can walk around the market until you get what you need while listening the voices of vendors, feeling the smiles of vendors and talking with them. You can also have traditional food. You can taste the fresh fruits also. There have one thing to do, it is to bargain before you buy something. It is important:). You must carry large bucket to put the food and vegetables. And be careful your foot to avoid the mud especially at the rainy season.
