Buddhist's footprints can be seen there. These place is the one of the famous, greatest & glorious religious places. You can go there by motorcycle or car from Magway. You can see Buddhist' footprints adorably & can also enjoy bathing in Man stream.

Shwe Sat Taw Pagoda Festival is the most famous and the most crowded festival in Myanmar. The three months long festival starts from early February to mid of May on yearly basic. Temporary guest houses and restaurants are all bamboo structures built along the swiftly flowing Mann River (Nammdar River).
The visitors usually stay one or two nights at the water front guest houses and enjoy the cool water to refresh the tiredness of their long journey, pay homage to the two foot prints of Buddha, enjoy local food and snacks. Hundreds of thousand of visitors come and explore this legendary festival every year.
The water festival (Thingyan Festival) days are the last days of Shwe Sat Taw Pagoda Festival. Myanmar new year day is the closing day of the mythic festival.

Myanmar's historic place and famous for the footprint relic of Buddha. You can worship and donate and view the scenes and eat seasonal foods. It celebrates in summer when the river water falls. I go there mostly every year in my summer holidays.

We had a good time there in public holidays in February as the festival was not congested yet. Although lodging prices are high, it is much enjoyable with pilgrims from all walks of life.
