Some tourist stay in Htee Thein monasteries . Mostly , back packers used to stay in upper monastery and package travellers stay in lower one . Present monk is previous monk ( assistance monk ) of upper monastery . Oo Ku Mar Ra ( previous chief monk of upper one ) was one of the person who trying to develop Kalaw trekking business . He pass away on 18 th , December 2013 .
