Excellent location. Loads of street food near by, walking distance to major sites. Poolside is fabulous and perfectly relaxing. Service is great and breakfast very nice. Would have preferred more local options though.

MUST READ THIS..spent 2 nights here, on the last night coordinated a one-way bus trip to Bagan. Paid the hotel receptionist 20k for 2 ticket, and bus would pick me up at 12pm and would drop off at hotel in Bagan. Now the dissappointment.4 hours into the trip, the bus stops, a woman enters the bus and says to pay 50,000 kyat for entry to Bagan. However, we did not have 50,000, maybe if this hotel informed us about the cost, we may not have decided to go at all, probably still would have, but, its not about money, its about principle, inform your customers of any additional costs along the way.how about charge the fee upfront, it should be 35,000 per person, which includes the entry cost to Bagan. Its just another surprise cost that ruined the scenic trip to Bagan, thanks for the heads up Yadarnabon, and the surprise cost of 2.5x the actual bus ticket.

Room with fake window. The pool on the roof seems never change the water. Swim if you dare Good breakfast, but it's a normal for myanmar.

We had a fabulous experience at HY!
We arrived after a very long night bus ride. The staff was extremely kind and accomodating. They gave us the option to join their breakfast and chill by their cozy rooftop pool while waiting for the room to be ready. Their breakfast buffet and service staff were exceptional. The room was clean and had WiFi. Loxated in a quiet but central part of town.response / report this review -

The staff are lovely. The breakfast was tasty. There should be a pool by end of 2017. On the downside, the place is looking a bit tired, and the bar is not an inviting place, despite the offer of a free drink for customers. Would stay again, though.

cozy place , wide room with safe box , bathtub, closet, laundry service and inroom dining service , electrick kettle, minibar in fridge and flatscreen TV. moreover, there are hair dryer and slippers too.

Honestly, if you are looking for a pleasant,excellent service, helpful, striving for customer satisfaction Hotel around Mandalay, Yadanrborn hotel is the Best in Mandalay, Myanmar. We had a change of plan due to some unforeseen circumstances, but from the reception,driver to the superior provided us a solution and make our trip remarkable. 😊 Thank you so much the entire crew of HOTEL YADANARBON MANDALAY.

Good location. Nice food. Good rooftop bar. However temperature is in the low forties Celsius this week and I wish I had booked a hotel with a pool. Definitely something for people to consider.

We came from yangon paying 45 per night for a small room in China town. We were concerned as this one was much cheaper. But we're pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Greatly warmly with amazing service. We came to our room and it was very clean, and little dated. But perfect for the price. Beds are comfy, staff are helpful and look happy at work. Which is what we try and look out for when visiting hotels in Asia. Super happy with everything. Would recommend staying here.
