Great view over Ayeyarwaddy from the rooftop. Rooms are standard comfortable, restaurant is overpriced and low quality. There are no restaurant options nearby unfortunately.

nice view, good rooms in very nice style with a lot of wood, super friendly staff and that view from roof top bar. so unforgetable sunsets with a daily free drink just the perfect place in Mandalay.

Clean and nice rooms and great service. Good air conditioning and bathrooms.
Friendly and organized reception
Comfy bed and pillows.
I would recommend this place if you are going to transfer onto the ferry the next morning
Very decent hotel restaurant as well.
Happy hour from 5-6 on the roof top bar. And a marionette show ( if not raining) as well.

Spectacular views from the roof, this is the ideal place to watch sunset in Mandalay. However, the restaurant manager made us feel very unwelcome. We arrived to a roof top of totally empty tables and were told that every single one was reserved so we had to sit in the corner without a view. However after 1.5hours none of the tables had been filled. Considering we only went for one drink it would have been nice for them to accommodate us and let us use one of the many free tables until a time when the guests that had reserved it arrived.
Cocktails are average for the price but worth it for the view.
