I had had a very wonderful time when I reached the Hotel Shwe Taung Yan. Overall, it is a moderate grade for its recent services but the location of the hotel is a totally perfect I will give it 5 stars. The price of its rooms are still reasonable or only you have to pay a half price if you compare with other sea front views hotels at Chaung Thar or Ngwe Saung beaches. For me, this hotel and the beach are the best of the best I have ever been in my life. This means, if you want to stay quite, clean sand, clean sea want, and very near the water with your bungalow. The most spectacular views.
We reached there by accidentally, the thing was happened like that we could not find any accommodation at the Chaung Thar beach on the 01,01,03,04 March,2018 , so, we Suzuki, Ertiga Club Myanmar,SECM group decided to proceed to Shwe Thaung Yan Hotel. At first, I was so worrying especially when I did my car crossover with a carrier which made a local style for both to and from. Later, it was converted to so exciting moments that I would be never forgot in my mind.
The hotel itself is no so bad this means the location of the hotel situated on the perfect place I am assured that you will forget all difficulties that you get in your trip to reach at the first glance at hotel beach.
But the service side or management side need to be improved a little not much and train service staffs. For example, the is no limousine service for those who could not crossover their vehicles with the carrier. That was very disappointed for aged people. Only motorbikes were available and a motorbike with trailer attached (tok tok)which did not have any seats for passengers.
Here is the some issues that the hotel should be informed its customers in advanced or since booking times by written or by phone conversations.
The first, the breakfast should be kept warm as much as possible or within the hotel specific breakfast times, such as the cold coffee was not good for all customers at breakfast times.
The second, the hotel should make a good relation or a better communication with the vehicle carrier service to get a right time in order not to upset or waste its customer leisure times for inaccurate information that provide from the carrier service, such as the hotel told the carrier was waiting to you but actually the carrier was not never show up.
The third, the customers should be informed that the carrier fees for a certain vehicles and which types of vehicle could be passed with the carriers in advance.
All above my comments are my personal opinions and they all are sincerely want to keep your hotel future what other had faced at ground level and what your side should do. There will be a real challenging time for your hotel when the bridge finish in the near future. I do not really want your hotel to failure in those days.
I am really wanted to come again in this months or very near future. But, it will be before the bridge finished.

Great service with clean and tidy rooms. Price is very fair for what it provides. Food taste great and the view of the long sandy shore and sun set is just phenomenal, it's just something about that place. Overall, a great place, surely will come back soon.
