The English name of this station is not "Dar Pein" but "Dar Bein". The train I took (departed Pago station at 11:47 bound for Yangon, probably from Mawlamyein) didn't stop here.
Very quiet and peace place on earth, even not far from Yangon city. Still get the taste of oldies back to 50 years ago. This train station used to very busy back to 1900s when my grandmother did her business as vegetable merchant. My mother grown up in this tiny town and educated from the government school over there. Plenty of rain water ponds are the source of water supply from the people there. I really miss it.
