  if your on a buget its not 4u
  As for the Duty free its not that much cheaper!
  if your staying 4**** up then it maybe for you
  Most people are wanting to see Burma or Thailand
  Its not one or the other
  They are building a highway direct to it
  Looks like it will get bigger
  Think they want to make another golden triangle
  The boat to & from is free no id no questions
  Would like to say more but think better not to♢

  Very easy to visit here, hop on the free boat, which leaves as soon as you get on board for the 30 second hop to the Myanmar side. No need for a border pass or passport or any other formalities. However, if you come here this way you should remain within the casino area.
  
  Duty-free shop is quite good, however, for some reason the minimum purchase for credit cards is 2000 Baht and then they want to charge you 3% on top of that. For lower amounts, only cash is accepted and all transactions in the casino, the hotel and duty free shop are made in Thai Baht only. Myanmar Kyat and other currencies are not accepted. Employees here are also mostly Thai, except maybe security guards and cleaning staff.

  Good service, clean and well decorated. Smoking is allowed inside the casino but it has a room for non smoking to sit and order food and beverage so you can bring kids. Plenty kinds of low price wine and beer to buy in the another building. No passport is needed and it opens 24 hours. Just jump on the boat for 2 mins from bank to bank. I highly recommend to visit Myawaddy Complex and have some fun.

  Myawaddy Complex; a casino, restaurant and duty free complex just over the border into Burma. The best part is you don’t need any passport to cross over, just hop into the boat that ferries people from bank to bank and enjoy Burmese beers, a little bit of gambling and some cheap wines and alcohol. It’s open 24 hours too, so anytime of night you feel you need a top up, head on over. We however, after a long day of adventure, head to bed.

  2 minutes cross by boat between Mae-Sot Thailand to MYANMAR (BURMA) shop at duty for cigarette, wine and alcohol (wine is not cheaper than in USA though). STAIRS ARE VERY STEEP so walk carefully.

  The duty free shop is excellent for those on the Thai side. Just cross the river on a boat and get some cheap, name brand booze.

  Food is tasty (a little expensive), beer a on tap, staff are friendly, duty free is adequate and there's a casino for those who like to try their luck.

  Convenient place to grab some duty free if you're in the area. Chocolates, alcohol, and cigarettes, all much cheaper than in Thailand. They offer a free ferry across the river every couple of minutes. Casino isn't much to look at however.
