If you need a Western break, this is your place. Great ambiance as well and reasonable prices.
Great atmosphere and food, located on the hotel street so its very near and nice, I recommend it
A bit pricey, but delicious. They know what they are doing.
Good food, Good service. Probably most expensive in the area, but it's worth the price, I think. 비싸지만 제 값을 합니다.
Highly recommend Black Bamboo. The food and service is great. It's one of the only restaurants a bit remote from the main street with a little garden which gives a very quite and relaxing atmosphere, and very romantic at night. Last but not least, they serve French wine !
Nice spot but a bit pricey. Great dessert selection
Worst food in the country. Poorly prepared with no flavor. Slow service.
Great place to smoke cigarettes, you will fit right in.
Nice restaurant. Good service and foods. The atmosphere is cosy. Love the cats around
A decent fusion and european restaurant with the great service.
Nice view, food is 7/10, price is more expensive than the others near.
Delious food, good hygiene and reasonable price.
We opted for the western food, on the recommendations of others. We ordered the chicken corden bleu, and a chicken club sandwich. The chicken was cooked well; both came with decent chips, too. Overall though the food was just OK, and pretty pricey for Myanmar in general. It might have benefited from the dishes being served with veg or salad. Would recommend the ice cream.
Nice upscale garden ambiance. Good service. Ordered the burmese beef curry, but it was bland and not tender. I think, they adjusted a lot for farang taste. The rum raisin homemade ice cream was ok. The Americano I ordered was good, so at least the coffee was good. I think, they are known for European/ Western food,so stick to this.
We got here at 9:35 pm asking if we could have dinner. They said of course but when we sat down we could only order sandwiches, any other course would take more time so they did not make the effort.
The stuff kept rushing us to leave just after bringing us our drinks.
the "home made" ice creams aren't worth at all.
Pricey too for what you get.
I Would never recommend this place having so many good restaurants with nice staff almost everywhere in Bagan.
Nice environment, good taste, reasonable price, nice women waiters
We were there for lunch and ordered burmese style beef, chicken, and pork curries.Loved their food. Excellent customer service, reasonable price and great decoration. Will come back again.
Quite pricey for the area, but really great food. Also a little more western than other places, but for me that just put a nice contrast to the local kitchen after weeks of travelling. The food was fresh, the coffee good and the staff very friendly.
French owned restaurant serving great food. Outdoor seating in a garden setting. Definitely worth trying.
My wife and I came here for dinner, which was served in the idyllic little garden. The food was delicious, particularly the fish curry (one of the best I've tried). The flavours were well balanced and it was not too spicy. This is a great place to spend the evening.
really nice place! good service! perfect for western people looking for a nice meal
Nice garden. But the service was horrible. The mood and ambiance too dull and with very little charm - hence, confidently fails to deliver on that frail promise you feel when you walk into that summer garden.
We walked in, sat down 2 min after the head waitress finally spotted us and gave us a random table despite the fact that we had a reservation. We then proceeded to wait for 15 min to be asked for our orders, out of a very much plain vanilla menu.
30 seconds into the ordering process, the vibe from the waitress was so bad and she was so negative and dismissive that my wife and both stood up and left immediately. Ended up at a place 1 block down where we had a ton of fun - and we also met another couple on an adjacent table who also had reservations there but only went in and out in like 30 seconds!
So much potential. Such an unmemorable experience.
