I had a chicken Thai curry yesterday which was extra spicy (even though I asked for a little bit of spice just) and the chicken tasted weird. I didn't finish all of it but I still got sick afterwards. My boyfriend had mango salad and lentil soup which was Ok, nothing special. The staff was very nice but that seemed the only good thing about this place

Super delicious food! We tried Indian and Nepali sets, portions are really big. Sometimes we needed to wait quite long time for our orders but each time was worth waiting.

This place is a gem. The food takes a little while to come because you can hear them freshly chopping up the ingredients. Very chill and relaxing place. The lamb tandoori is unforgettable, and you can also get unlimited rice and chapati if you order anything from the set. Try out the lime and ginger drinkit definitely has a kick to it but absolutely a must try.

A very good family restaurant. We went here three times during our stay in Bagan and were always satisfied. The Avocado salad is fantastic. Really delicious home meals for reasonable prices. Never had any stomach problems. It is possible to order take away. Highly recommended !

One of our best dining experience in Myanmar. Very nice staff (family restaurant), wide choice of tasty Burmese, Thai, Indian or Nepali food with unlimited rice and chapati with some of them. I’d recommend Tomato soup which was one of the best I’ve ever had, Avocado salad (best I’ve had in Myanmar) or fish and lamb curry. Good coctails, prices reasonable. We came here at least four times during our stay in Bagan.

Incredible place; is had the set meal, the soup was tasty, but the mutton tandoori was out of this world, so much flavour. Unlimited rice and chapati (although the portions are very good so you don't neee any more) the chapati was fresh and soft, I couldn't fault it. If you go to Bagan make sure you come here. Do NOT waste your time at Aroma 2 I had it a few nights before and it's the worst Indian food I've ever eaten. This place is a gem, and the staff are lovely.

Four of us traveling around Myanmar universally agreed the coconut fish curry was the best thing we ate, just be aware that asking for it 'Myanmar spicy' is a bit on the hot side! Also do great tealeaf, ginger and avocado salads.

The best curry we had in Myanmar. Served with very good coconut rice. The Naan was a bit disappointing though. Still if you want to eat a good curry, this is the place to go.

Went there during a power cut, so did not expect much, although the owner said we could have dinner.
Some places had power, but we wanted to give it a try. There was just another table waiting for their dinner.
It took maybe 45 min to get our food, but the wait was so worth it.
    The portions are huge.
We had tibetan stuffed bread with lamb. It was really tasty, although a little bit on the dry side, but i think there was a dipping sauce with it.
We also had a Nepali curry set with Pork and eggplant.
It may have been the best Indian/Nepali food we had, and it was dirt cheap.
Unfortunately, no light to take good pictures to remember !

Without a doubt the best food I ate in myanmar. I had the set menu and I couldn't fault one single thing about the food or the experience. The waiter was very pleasant and the chefs/owners/ other staff were very nice. Seriously, don't miss this place if you're in bagan.

Maybe the regular cook was off tonight? We shared an Indian masala and a Thai green curry. While edible, I think was the worst rendition of either Indian or Thai food I've ever had, and definitely my worst meal yet in Myanmar. Both dishes were extremely salty and didn't resemble the traditional recipes closely at all.

Popular place with tourists but unfortunately the food let's the place down - being Indian and having grown up there I can safely say what wonderful tasty is serving as the Indian thali is not Indian food at all - it's way too salty (same goes for the Myanmar thali) and not the right flavours. Service unfortunately is the other big let down - the staff are all incredibly friendly and courteous but orders are routinely forgotten (we noticed this happening across a few tables) and the food takes 30-40 minutes to arrive which is fine if your whole order arrived in one go. Overall there's too much choice around and this is another over hyped TripAdvisor joint

Very delicious food, their Lime-Ginger Tea is heavenly! Expect a bit of wait when the place is full, we waited more than one hour, but it was well worth the wait. Indian dishes were quite salty, but tasty.

The best food I have eaten in Myanmar bar none. Very popular with westerners but does not at all detract from the tasty plentiful portions. Handmade chapatis. Superb value. Give it a try.

During our stay we visited wonderful tasty twice. The food is very delicious and the prices are moderate (actually we haven't found anything cheaper that this) and the people are very friendly. We had the Myanmar menu and the Indian menu. The meat tasted very good and was delicate, best we had in Myanmar so far. Both menus were very delicious and the portions are very big.
You should definitely try this restaurant!
