Nice indian food menus. But not Halal.
very good indian food, quite expensive, nice relaxing atmosphere
Absolutely my best Indian restaurant experience in the southeast Asian region. My limited order was excellently cooked. It's true what people posted, it's expensive even by expat standards but I don't feel like I'm getting ripped off because there's fair warning of the price and I couldn't get such quality at any price elsewhere.
I'd like to recommend the spiced Indian ice cream as something which is exemplary
Costly restaurant but taste is average..
Very tasty. Unfortunately, once me and my friend maybe had too spicy food: it hit us both.
Best Indian food I have ever had. Staff was amazing. We traveled a long way and our 1.5 year old was very loud and fussy. They had no issue with our annoying child and they even kept him entertained for us. Great food! Great staff! Great location!!
No complaints Indian food@Yangon.
We were taken here by our local contact. With Indian dhinchak music floating around, it was perfect "finding home" moment there!
About food - we ordered fish curry and laccha parathas. While the fish curry was named Kerala fish curry, member of our group, a Malayali said that it was mish-mash of Kerala style with everything else. Having said that, it was delicious and sumptous.
We also had fish tikka which was well done.
Though we did not look into the kitchen, hygiene seems to have been ok :), given that none of us had any issues!
Nice location. Food cost higher. Quality good. Service is good.
Realistically speaking the property costs are much higher in Yangon and work visa restrictions are main constraints for expansion of Indian food business in Yangon. Otherwise locals also like Indian food very much, especially vegetarian. Many Indians are visiting Yangon for various businesses and services purposes. Most of these people look forward to quality vegetarian food at a clean location.
So best wishes

Best Indian food you will get in this country. Very hospitable people.
It's ok. Not a great setting but staff are friendly and attentative. I expected the food choice and quality to be better.
Authentic indian food, good staff,
This restaurant is among one of my personal favorites. But when analyzed based on its atmosphere, quality and quantity of food true to its value, and the friendliness of the servers, this restaurant cannot be a regular place for many people including myself.
Once you get into the restaurant, the first thing you'll notice is that there are both private and public seatings. Arguably, the atmosphere is affected by the type of seating you choose. Nevertheless, the general ambience of Indian pop music and the dominance of the thick red color on the seatings truly help submerge the customers into the Indian culture and by extension its food. In other words, the atmosphere is really nice.
For quality and quantity, if any of you is anything like I am, you will need to check the prices of the dishes. The prices of each dish range from 7,000 kyats to 10,000 kyats. At least two people can eat one dish. The rice is when compared to other Burmese restaurants will be incredibly high because it is around 3,500 kyats per one serving (equivalent of 2 rice servings in a Burmese restaurant). So it's hard to go and eat here everyday.
But the friendliness of the servers is brilliant. They are willing to explain the different dishes and what they are like in an understandable way for a person who is clueless about Indian dishes. Also, once you've been there a couple of times, the waiters and waitresses will become more attentive of you.
Recommend this restaurant to anyone who is willing to go out for a nice dinner with family or special friend.
Te service was good, but even more important, the food was amazing. Definitely the best Indian food I had in years.
Yes it is a bit expensive for Yangon standards, but it is worth every penny.
Unfortunately I didn't find original Indian taste in the Indian dishes. Better finding cheap street foods.
Tasty and elaborate food, with an eager to help staff. Somewhat upmarket prices (for local standards), but good food comes at a cost.
Good Indian food. Can work on the staff. Overall visit if you want Indian food.
I went here on the strength of the amazing prior reviews. The welcome and service were kind of lukewarm but there was a language difference, I guess. I looked at the menu and couldn't see plain pilau rice to go with my main course dish. The waiter I asked couldn't help but his colleague indicated there were only the rice dishes on the back of the menu. I ordered rice with vegetables but failed to notice it was going to be a shade under $7. Besides my main dish I also ordered a stuffed bread and jasmine tea. There were some complimentary poppadoms and pickles, insofar as anything is really free. The poppadoms weren't very good, either not cooked or microwaved long enough. The rest of the food arrived soon after I finished them anyway, accompanied by a cup of green tea. The main dish, a fish curry, was ok but very spicy to the extent that the fish was totally overwhelmed. The rice with vegetables was good and plentiful, too much for me to finish given I also had the bread. In fact the bread, stuffed with onion, was probably the best thing on the table.
OK, so why the rating? Well, one cup of jasmine tea was just not right for the charge of over $2. The rice at over $7 was also overpriced. In all the bill came to $25, way too much in my view.
If you crave Indian food then it's good but more expensive than it needs to be.
