It is good taste for Myanmar traditional cuisine like as Myanmar style pork, kitchen and duck and also order for vegetables soup and salads. Price for one person with one meal is 4000 kyats and plus with com tax 5 %.

Many choices of veggie and non veggie food offered, lots of locals and foreigners w/local friends eating there. Delicious food and great experience. Don't expect great service or decor but waiting staff are helpful and fast.

Food to be honest below average as qualify. My friend even had some stomach issues later on. I had no problems but from 8 dishes that we tried I can really not recommend the fish ones. The most acceptable were the steamed vegetables.

One of the best Myanmar restaurants in Yangon. Various Myanmar traditional dishes available. A little sack of service during peak hours. Price is a bit higher then reasonable.

Friendly people, but slightly on the expensive side for Myanmar and for what you get. Food is definitely ok, but not spectacular. Watch out with what you order, as it's buffet style but it's not all you can eat - you pay per portion of meat or vegetables.

Great place if you want to try Burmese cuisine. They have a lot of variety in both veg and non veg. I would suggest visiting for a brunch or lunch because most of their dishes get over quite fast due to high demand. There would be a person who would assist you with choosing what you need from the dishes that they have prepared for the day! The staff is helpful at the place. Also, if you speak English only the staff does help you out with that too. I have only heard that during dinner the variety is not a lot but i am not aware of it personally. Good place to try though! :)

Went shortly after 7 pm on Friday and had a fish curry and vegetable curry and a beer. Total 7000 mmk. The fish curry was cold as was the rice, the fish was in clumps and hard to chew. A bit like chicken nuggets but harder and in a sauce. On the table there were some pieces of vegetables like carrots wedges already brown from oxidisation, I was supposed to dip it in hot sauce and eat them apparently. Other raw vegetables on the plate were eventually not safe to eat for me as a foreigner because their skin was still on, and I would be at risk, so I left them.
The vegetable curries, including the bitter gourd were super salty and of course bitter, and cold. All together this was such a miserable dining experience i did not
know what to say. Veggie curry 500 mmk, fish 3500 mmk ( what for ?!) Portions were very small but maybe it was better so because I could not force myself to finish. Super disappointing meal. It did not help that one of the waitresses was trying to remove some piece of food lodged in her teeth in font of me, slowly her hand vanishing in her mouth for the duration of my meal, which was quick as possible.
Now perhaps this place is for lunch and the food has been sitting there since then, maybe it was tastier then, some local people seemed to enjoy it, therefore I give two stars. But a word of warning to all foreigners coming here because of the good reviews.. the food really was tasteless cold or hot..

First time trying Burmese food- walked here after visiting the shwedagon pagoda. Staff doesn't speak much English but food is all out in pans so I was able to point. Salad, soup and rice are all brought to your table after you sit down. This is definitely an in and out place. They get so busy in the late morning for lunch/afternoon for lunch and seating is limited so you do feel a bit rushed but all the locals eat and go. No one lingers around. Had way more food than I could handle -4 vegetables plus the soup, rice, salad they bring to you. And all that came to 2,500 kyat which is less than 2 US dollars

If you are looking for a true local dining experience this is your place. They had a variety of Burmese curry dishes to choose from - all were authentic. Staff were friendly, customers were all local Burmese. Four curry dishes, a bottle of water, and two plates of rice came to less than 12,000 kyat.

The definition of traditional Burmese cuisine. Clean food, good service and the location is great too! Would totally recommend it to tourists as local.

They simply ripped us off. During the bill they looked like they were counting and then suddenly 3 dishes added up to 15k. When I asked her the breakdown. Apparently the prawn dish was 6k. Been at many local places like these. The prawn dish is never 2x - 3x the price of the pork/chicken/ fish dish. There were many locals around the restaurant but I would bet more than 15k that they would not be paying 6k for 3 pieces of prawns. Most importantly, the food wasn't great at all. Drenched in oil and salt. If you are tourist. Never have your meal here.

Another Burmese restaurant, but different. It has everything, delicious curry, the soup and a selection of rice and noodle dishes. Most of all, it has the sit-down-shut-up-and-eat what I love about Myanmar. If you want fancy, obviously don't come here. If you want authentic food, you're at the right place. Do you want to know why? They are detail oriented. Cleanest bathroom I've seen in any restaurant in Myanmar.
