Easy walk from downtown Yangon. As many mentioned they serve great noodles and ‘foreigner-friendly’ as the people here speak basic English and menus are in English. Extensive food choices but I tried the dry wheat noodles and traditional Shan noodles. I personally prefer the dry noodles !

It is a great hidden germ in Yangon. The noodle are cheap and delicious which is full of local flavour. The sweet and sour sauce with the chewy noodle is fabulous and unique. It is just a pity that I cannot enjoy the milk tea. The shop clised at 1900, so please be reminded to schedule well so not to miss this out.

This restaurant has a variety of options you can choose from from their menu. As for me, I had a great time with the super Wonton Noodle. That was so amazing. I love it.

Quite overrated. Soup for the Shan sticky noodles was quite tasteless, with only a bit of salty and spicy taste. Sticky noodles was quite interesting though, chewy like ricecake, but not really my cup of tea. Fried flat rice noodles tasted good but was too oily. Staff were entertaining.

I have eaten several times here, and I could notice each time that there were more foreigners than locals here. Probably due to the reviews on TripAdvisor and similar websites. It is a typical Shan noodle place, similar dishes to any other Shan eating place i n Yangon. Probably a big difference is that they are very skilled in catering for the foreign audience. My recommendation: the Avocado juice.

Amazing food! Everything we tried was absloutley delicious. Even though it's very recommended by all tourists' sites it felt really authentic. Probably one of the best places we ate in during our stay in Myanmar.

Awesome food, at local prices! entertaining and attentive staff. Went twice, first time they were really busy but served us fast had a real positive vibe. Second time they were less busy, the dude serving us was fooling around, entertained us by mixing the food after serving us. Almost looked like he was going to feed us too.

Recommend this restaurant for the Shan style food. Inya yellow sticky rice served with fish meat on top, fried shallot, peanuts and Asian peppers was very awesome. I also ordered stir-fried green veggies, which is seasonal. For the atmosphere, the wall is decorated with many art pieces, the 2nd floor has an air-conditioner, the tables, chairs and floor is quite clean. The only one thing, I felt slightly upset, is the long time for waiting the food.

Very good and famous Noodle shop. We tried several types of Noodle and soups, all are great.

If you have a chance to visit here, should try the pork leg noodle.

Packed with locals and foreigners. Price is reasonable, food taste great! I had the traditional shan noodle, however someone told me that their flat noodle is awesome. Should come try if you are here! Staffs were friendly, and tea is served for free.

The dry noodles were tastier than the soup version. Spring rolls were really tasty. Service is brisk and price reasonable, there is air conditioned seating on the second floor.

Orderes the shan noodle. The broth has some herbs and spices in the soup which is taste delicious. The hot spicy fried noodle is really spicy but a little oily. The taste of the fish with soy sauce and ginger was ok but just felt that the fish is over cooked. The staff services was good.

Good place to enjoy breakfast in Shan style. Completely filled with tourists. Staff is very efficient and understands English. It might be expensive from local standards but it's a nice and clean place. Worth it.

Very friendly and enthusiastic waitress who explains the dishes patiently.

Recommend to try the tea leaves salad - acquired taste but it grows on you.

Love the complimentary coconut sticky rice dessert!!

The noodles with soup and with garlic oil are both amazing. The staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend to try this. However, we tried the 999 Shan noodles at Junction Square and we do not recommend going there. The 45th street shop has much higher food quality than the one at Junction Square!

Very popular among tourists and most taxi drivers will take you here if you are in downtown too. Famous for shan noodles, soup tastes special! Pricing around 2-3k kyatts. Please note that they don't list prices in the menu! Staff speak good English. A bit too warm if you get lunch there!

Environment: 4/10
Just a normal shop next to the streets. Nothing special. DO NOT expect much from the environment. Way too much tourists and westerns coming to this place.

Food: 7/10
The noodle is normal and well made but the taste of the soup is too salty. You should definitely try the fried noodle as it is really good. DO NOT order the fried tofu if you are expecting to eat TOFU, IT IS NOT TOFU.

Price:
The price is quite high and I believe that their aim is to sell to tourists because of the high price which locals might not be able to afford.

Full of Westerners but delicious!! Super nice wait staff too- when I started picking out the onions in my soup, my waiter grabbed chopsticks and started helping me!! That's unheard of! So lovely :)

This eatery is located in a small road behind the City Hall. The place is filled with tourists eager to taste the Shan food. We ordered the Fried tofu, Shan noodle (without soup) and dumpling food. The food came quite quickly. The fried tofu was reviewed by others in that it did not taste exactly like tofu we often experienced. It came with a light sauce and the combination tastes pretty good, would be even better if it came out hot. The Shan noodle was seasoned with delicious sauce with the slight peanut flavor. On cleanliness, the staffs were cleaning the floor incessantly. I would give this place 3.5/5.

I have never seen faster service. Our food started coming in 3 minutes after we ordered and it still tasted fresh! And it's super cheap.

Recommend the Wheat Noddle dry with oil and fried tofu. Shan noodle with oil is also quite good! Drinks - avocado juice!

Absolutely love this place! It is a great reflection of the authentic Myanmar food. There are also a plethora of noodles type and base that you can choose from. Prices are extremely affordable. My sister and I loved it so much we came here for breakfast every single day to try the different noodles!
