This was a nice quiet hotel, comfortable too. The breakfast was nice. The only draw back is that there is a bit of walking to the city center, we were staying here just to be closer to a conference venue.

Nice spacious rooms, great breakfast, very nice ambiance for dinner. The drive to the hotel (especially in the evening/at night) makes you question if the surroundings are safe or even populated, but it's just on the arena side. The riverside has a lot of people strolling and jogging in the evening and is quite enjoyable.
Not sure if this would be a good place to be on game night.
Rooms are not exactly cheap for Skopje, but a similar hotel/service would cost you several times more anywhere in central or northern Europe or in the US.

Hotel City Park is a pretty lofty place offering a lot, but at a price. I'd rather recommend the coffee shops which are facing the river Vardar and have a relaxed atmosphere.

I stayed here on a 10 day trip to Macedonia. Very cozy, serves good breakfast, fast and nice service, nice rooms. Has some restaurants right next to the place. You can walk to the park which is across the street, a bakery, restaurants, and you can also walk to the mall allowing you to avoid the parking fee. The staff and most people in the big cities speak English.

Big park in comparison with the size of the city, near zoo and bohemian street. Very nice during the summer when during the night ours people from all age categories hang out, the place feels more alive and fun.
