  Close to RRE hotel. We went at breakfast time twice. I ordered the breakfast platter with eggs, bacon, and pancakes (about $6) both times - both times it was tasty and good value. My husband ordered an omelet (about $7) and hash browns the first time - both were disappointing as the omelet was small and simple for the price while the hash browns seemed like they had thawed too much before being refrozen. The second time my husband ordered the chicken katsu, which was a good value but the chicken contained a small metal piece in it.
  
  We ordered large coffees both times, which were reasonable quality (and great price at about $1).
  
  We tried walking down the alley from the RRE to the restaurant, but intimidating dogs led to us taking the longer route around each time. I'd go again and order the breakfast platter, but it would be a hard sell to get my husband to return.

  Quiet and friendly. Located on the ocean side road in Uliga across the RRE complex. Serves local food and has the best Kona coffee on island.

  This place is not closed. Hours are 0600 opening everyday to either 2000 or 2100 depending on day.
