  I emailed them several times about a refund of my deposit because of the hurricane. I never received a response. Later I was told it was because email and all communications are out. Makes sense but they are able to post FB and respond to trip advisor reviews. If they can do that they can send a cancellation notice so I can get my money back.

  Love love love Hotel L'Esplanade! Great hotel with top notch service in a beautiful part of St. Martin. Within walking distance of beaches, restaurants, nightlife and shops. Will be back again for sure!

  STAY HERE!!! This wonderful hotel was the perfect place to stay in St. Martin! L'esplanade sits up on a hill above the French dining mecca of Grand Case, St. Martin. Kristin was the epitome of what a host should be. She was always warm and friendly, full of recommendations, and went above and beyond anytime the situation arose. L'esplanade hotel's rooms were amazing (get an oversized loft!), the pool was spotless and sublime, the yoga/mediation studio was perfect, and the housekeeping and daily breakfast service was spot on. There's no restaurant on site, but obviously this isn't needed because you are literally 5 minutes from a dozen of the finest French cuisine this side of Paris. For those that rent a car (recommended), L'esplanade is just off the main road that circles the island, so you can drive to a plethora of amazing beaches, shops, and restaurants in 15 minutes. Thank you Kristen and I can't wait to return!!!!

  One of the top boutique hotels on the island. Located in the lovely gourmet village of Grand Case. Walk to all the specialty restaurants, parfumerie, spa's and beach bars! No need for a car! Beautiful large guest rooms, swim up bar pool and gorgeous sunset views! A must!

  An incredible experience. Superb service. Could not have asked for a better stay, with such accommodating staff and services. Breakfasts were out of this world, the bartender Alian and his assist/ trainee Tia were out of this world and should be an assortment of drinks that I had never even thought to combine. If you are looking for a get away close to the water, a get away with your special someone, or just the vacation of your life, I urge you to stay at L'esplanade
