Visiting Our Lady of the Rocks was part of our day tour to Kotor. Had it not been included, I'd most likely not have paid to go over. If you have time though and the weather is nice, it's worth checking out

It is a tiny island in the middle of the sea, it is lovely, only can be arrived by boat. There is a church on the island which is free for visit and inside the church there is a museum will charge entrance fee.

Our Lady of the Rocks is an artificial isle, formed by sinking old ships loaded with rocks. It is worth to visit a small museum on it. There is a portrait of the man with three hands; simply the primary version of the painting was amended and its both coats are visible.

Beautiful church. An island created when the icon of the virgin Mary appeared on a rock. Since then people have left offerings and prayers

Great tour. A small place to spend 30-45 minutes

    Get there before 11 am

Very cool church with neat history. Inside decorations and the brief tour are very cool. The boat ride and tour take about an hour and are worth it.

    Beware of thugs

Beautiful location, all the other positive reviews are spot on. Have lunch in one of the restaurants near the harbour.

However beware of thugs. Parking should be cheap 2€ per day from what we gathered. However we were unfortunate to bump into a bunch of thugs. When we parked we paid 5€ and were told the cost is 5€ per hour. However when we required around they told us it was 2€ per day. When we went back a group a five were waiting for us to collect money (we parked for little over two hours). They claimed that because I had a Renault Traffic which is a 9 seater the cost is higher. In any country this car is categorised as a normal car. I smelled a rat. They had blocked my car with their own so I had no way of going out. I refused to pay despite being with a family of 6. I called the police but police was most unhelpful as he did not speak English. I told them I will pay the fine but not paying them as I don't believe they were official. Luckily with the police around they couldn't block me anymore. We left without paying more and after a big scene. Till date I haven't got a fine (been over a month now). So b ware of thugs.

One of the most beautiful place to be at.
Just taking a deep breath while looking at the 360 degree view makes you forget all of your stress.
Being there during sunset will make your tears come out.

Beautiful place!! There are some boat tour with 10Euro.
Even if you visit this place just for 10 min, you must be able to enjoy this place. I heard that most tours from Dubrovnik includes this place to the tour for Kotor. I recommend you to try to visit this place. A small souvenir shop is also located on this small island.
