  Sigurno najmanja crkva u siroj okolini Podgorice, sto ne umanjuje njen znacaj.
  Jer u hramu Svetog Georgija u Momisicima, pociva najvise svetaca Srpske pravoslavne crkve na jednom mjestu. 42 momisicka mucenika.
  
  1688.godine u crkvi su zivi spaljeni dva svestenika i djaci, mahom iz bratstva Popovića.
  Ostala je legenda da su im Turci nudili da prime islam u zamjenu za glavu, ali nisu prihvatili.
  Kosti spaljenih sakupljene su i čuvaju se u ovom hramu

  1688 year in the church were burned alive two priests and forty children, mostly from the brotherhood Popovic.
  The rest is legend that the Turks had offered to accept Islam in exchange for their head, but they did not accept.
  Burned bones were collected and kept in this temple.
