If it was possible I would give zero or minus rate.
They made up a small scratch and charged us 416 euro. It turned my holiday into a disaster. I will never ever rent a car from Avis.

For me it was very good and friendly service,good and clean car.We got free upgrade got total new fiat 500L instead of reserved small Chevrolet spark.AVIS THANK YOU!!!!

Be very carrefull ! This rental is not honnest. The deposit is in fact not a deposit ! You will have to pay this deposit when you return back the car. For instance you reserve 3 days car for 54.59€ and at the end the price to pay is 170.61€. I am surprised that the big company Avis do nothing for that ! It's a good marketing Avoid Avis Podgorica!!!!!

I would give them ZERO stars if I could. All the reviews about them being legalised theft and charging people for insurance without asking is true and they even disguise the charges by asking you to sign the terms and conditions when actually those are the charges. And they don't even reply if you make a complaint to the customer service. I bet it is because these people make extra commission and money off every single additional insurance taken out. Never again Avis!

This is the best car hire service I have received abroad. Normally I have to spend quite a while explaining that I have my own insurance and do not need the extra cover but this was accepted with no further questions. The guys I dealt with were fantastic and unbelievably kind (as was everyone else I met in Montenegro!). I'm sorry for the bad experiences below but for me, this was perfect!

The agents are rude and completely unaccommodating. I came to their desk with a reservation that I had made online through Expedia. I got a good rate for $430 for 13 days. They immediately told me that the rate was without insurance, to which I responded that my credit card company covers car rentals as does my State Farm auto insurance so that I don't need their additional insurance. He stated that they can't honor my rate and that it would be 750 EUR for 13 days if I wanted the car.

Now, I just got off a flight, having traveled 15 hours to get to Podgorica and this guy is telling me that I can't have a car. I didn't make other arrangements to get picked up and ended up waiting at the airport before taking a cab to the coast.

When I asked to speak to the owner he replied quite rudely that as far as I am concerned, "he'e the owner". Do not use these guys. They are awful and will rip you off and leave you in a lurch. Use Hertz at the airport. I've used them in the past and it worked out well. I even called them this time and even though they had no cars available, they still called around to give me other rental options. Real gentlemen at Hertz. STAY AWAY FROM AVIS AT THE PODGORICA AIRPORT!!
