Late night snack and the free bowls of vegetarian harira soup were amazing. Wasn’t expecting much from this place but turned out pretty well for a chill night.

Really nice - try the chicken pastilla and the meatball tagline - the best we had in Morocco. Staff are friendly and prices are pretty reasonable.

Turist trap. The food was not bad, but double the price as any other similar restaurant. Our fries came almost frozen, but the waiter brought us new ones.
The restaurant itself is a bit dirty and I can imagine that the kitchen must also be. The view from the last floor is amazing, so I guess going there for a coffee and some pastry is a good idea.
They will also try to force you to tip. If you are not happy overall, just don't.response / report this review -

This restaurant has really slow service. They point out in the beginning that service is not included. Eventually only the waiter who served us and the one who showed us in seemed friendly. I ordered the Pastilla, it is so, super, ultra sweet.

Other foreign customers have had bad experiences with the food menu. But I can vouch for this as a top spot to relax with a morning coffee and pastry. It isn't expensive at all, and the staff are welcoming.

Do not go here!!! It only looks nice from the outside because you can get a panoramic view but the food is average and waiters are useless. My friend ordered the vegetarian pastilla which came out cold and uncooked, we found out that the waiter did not want to heat it up properly as he didn’t want us waiting 10 more minutes.. what kind of service is that? After asking to change it to something else like the tagine, they told us it was ‘impossible’ to change the dish and that we HAD to have the pastilla. When paying for the meal the waiter expected a tip at the end when the service we had was utterly useless. Also stray cats come into the restaurant and jump on the seats next to you when you are eating which is very offputting. If you want a decent Moroccan meal go to Riad Andalib which is right opposite this cafe.

Easy to find if you live around Bab Rcif. Not really expensive for quite big portion, my roast chicken and tajin were delicious. We sat at terrace for dinner, supposed to be nice but there was a stray cat trying to get our food and i couldn‘t eat peacefully.

The terras is nice and has a nice view on Fes. The food is normal but the prices are to high. Services is acceptable but not very good.

They open very early. Tasty pastries. And when I asked if the waiter know the address I showed him, he said he has to have someone to show me bec the streets are winding and rightfully indeed, I'm glad because the three maps I have on my phone were all wrong. And I know some would say it's a scam, but I wasn't told how much it will be I was just told to give the guy something and I think that that's just fair.

The restaurant is nicely decorated and the view from the roof terrace is beautiful. The prices are slightly higher than in the restaurants at the blue gate
Although the food looks ok, the quality was apparently bad. After eating the Moroccan chicken pies, in our family 4 out of 6 got buccal complaints, diarrhea and had to vomit in the evening.response / report this review -

The chicken liver appetizers was great & I could have ate a plate of them and fritas and it would be 5 star. The sausage was good. The fritas(french fries) were limited, rice okay without the olive. The salad was requested without cucumbers and came with cucumbers. The price is high for the quality & quantity of the food compared to Casablanca, Marrakech and Tanger.

Very good selection of Moroccan food, which we found to be of generous quantity, very good quality and reasonable price - especially for Fes.
The waiting staff (especially the older gentleman often in v-neck jumpers) were very accommodating and friendly.
We returned here three times and enjoyed the Moroccan dishes on each occasion. It also seems to be very popular with locals.response / report this review
