Lifetime experience.
We took a camel ride out of town to the camp - approx 60 minutes - and got in in time for sunset and watched it from the ridge overlooking the camp. Camp consists of 10 tents - all with running water, showers and flushing toilets. There is a fire pit for later in the night and a food tent for the evening meal. The dinner was really nice and the fire and music entertainment after was lovely . Overall a really nice site, people and would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the sahara .response / report this review -

Excellent
Friendly Staff
We arrived late for dinner as we wanted to see the tents and ride the camels. The chef was still waiting for us to serve fresh made food with a smile on his face. He also facilitated for my toddler with some choices. I was really impressed. A BIG THANK YOU!response / report this review -

Cafe le petit prince, is a friendly cafe serving delicious local food in M'hamid. We met Abdoul here who had organised our trip to the desert and camp Sahara holidays. We spent two nights with them, one in each of their camps. Both were excellent, spotlessly clean, really lovely friendly staff, tasty food amazing live music round a camp fire at night, we're all still singing Mamma Africa. We were lucky to see the blood moon while we were there. Perfect. Mohammed who drove us to both camps was a safe driver and stopped for photos whenever we wanted to. He also enjoyed Turkish music!! ( We're from Turkey) So if you are looking for the most amazing experience ever then I can highly recommend these guys.

We got here very late at night and the owner of Le Petit Prince had waited for many hours for us to arrive, he was amazingly helpful and immediately got us a car to a place in the desert where we were staying the night. When we got there I expected a small hut or a tent, what we got instead was a beautiful campsite with a massive fire pit in the middle.
All around there were 5 one room houses, one larger than the others for a relaxing place to hangout. There was a bathroom with a hot shower and 2 toilets. Our rooms were very nice, they were sealed against the wind and sand, and the beds were very comfortable. When we woke up they had an amazing breakfast made for us already, with great tea. While we were there Abdul (The owner of Le petit prince cafe) arranged everything for us, he took us to the nomad music festival, camel riding, day trips to old Hamid, and whenever we stopped at the Le petit prince for a rest he had tea for us. Near the end of our trip we headed into the 'Big Sahara' to camp under the dunes, which turned out to be a beautiful campsite with huts that were warm with beds and blankets, showers and toilets, and dining room, and a beautiful campfire, nothing like the Canadian camping I was used to. At night looking up you could see millions of stars, so many more than I had ever seen in the city. At night they cooked us an amazing dinner, and had breakfast ready for after we had sand boarded for awhile. To end this, the food is amazing, the place is amazing, but the people of Mhamid and Le petit prince in particular is what made this trip unforgettable.response / report this review -

Cafe le petit prince have been so incredibly helpful and generous. The initial draw was the wifi, but I soon found the people are wonderful, the food is fabulous, the music is great and the atmosphere very peaceful. I've been on their lovely early morning, in the shade away from the midday sun and i the evening. Best spot in town!

Awesome café with awesome people! They serve the best coffee in town, make great omlettes and are very helpful with everything. I would definitely like to go back sometime and can recommend to everyone :-)
