Saeed is a great host: the walking tour is really interesting, lots of information and facts, a good overview of hot spots and no-touristic places. No shopping, no obliged stops at shops, I strongly reccomend the tour

This was a perfect start to our visit in Marrakech. Saeed sets a good pace (not too slow, which I loved), is open to questions, is honest, and provided a very informative and useful tour of the Medina and local culture. I really appreciated that he didn't take us shopping but gave us lots of useful tips for when we decided to go shopping on our own. The length, pace, and quality of the tour were excellent and I highly recommend. Thank you Saeed!

Excellent walking tour of Marrakech
This is the tour to take for insights into the Medina in Marrakech. You escape from any shopping, but learn about where and how to shop in your own time, and enjoy a thoughtful and considerate tour guide, who knows a great deal about his city: history, architecture, culture, geography, etc. Not cheap, but the price is all-inclusive. For a great way to experience Marrakech, try this tour! Our family group of seven adults were all highly appreciative that we went for this tour, and would thoroughly recommend it.

Wonderful morning with brilliant guide. Saeed was lovely, informative and took us on a great route. We saw Marrakesh in a way we'd never do with a guide book. Great and highly recommended.

A Perfect walk!
The whole week we didn’t went to the locations which were stated on the website of Marrakech by Locals. We wanted to save this particular tour for one of our last thing on the to do list. We met the most friendly Saeed at 9 o’clock and started our tour in front of koutoubia Mosque. Then we walked for more than 3,5 hours and visited a bakery, walked thru the Mellah (the Jewish Quarter), got inside the beautiful Badi- and Bahia Palace, got explanations about the different architecture styles of Jews and Muslims. All these thing where accompanied with lots of context and dialog between us and Saeed. This man knows his history, he was also interested in our way of looking a Marrakesh and Morocco. But also asked us about everything we did in our daily lives in the Netherlands, where my wife originally comes from (Curaçao) etcetera. We paused briefly at the edge of Jemaa el-Fnaa on a higher terrace to refresh ourselves with a traditional mint tea and water. Because it was hot this April. After that where again weaving our way through the alleyways and left the usual tourist trail behind in the chaotic souks. We didn’t visit any mega commercial shops… only workshops where tiles were still handmade, where the vegetables are traded for the locals and a place where blacksmiths made some beautiful stuff.

This walk was a perfect marking of our city trip to Marrakesh, we can highly recommend this tour!
