The staff at this Riad are friendly and nice and it was clean. The included breakfast was better than most guest houses I've stayed at before. However, I cannot overlook the lack of heat and hot water, and the very low water pressure in the middle of winter in Fes. Regardless of the price point, an acceptable level of comfort should be provided.
It maybe a good place to stay during the warm months, but I can not recommend this place during the winter months in Fes.
Probably would never stay here again, to say the less.
We got a terrace room surrounding with all the Ac machine so too noisy, the hot water did not work propertly and not enough pressure. The heat pump is not enought for the room.
We booked a Spa and massage 6h in advances and when we arrived on time suddently were canceled it for some bad excuse.I would not recomnend this place and find a cheaper place cause this one is expensive and does not deserve it.Simple breafast.
Abdul was the nicest receptionist we had at our whole trip to Morocco. He was there for us all time and helped with everything. He really earns a salary increase!
The rooms are nice and clean, at the wintertime there is a little problem with the hot water as you need to wait two minutes to shower, before, it is cold. The cleaning lady one time left one window open (which is no problem in the second floor and bars before it) and we had a little guest, a small lizard, in our room. The safe was not working but the cleaning lady is the only person who has a second key and is really trust worthy.
The breakfast is very varied and includes tea, coffee and fresh orange juice. Also Abdul served us the breakfast really fast and was really polite and nice.
The hotel is located near the blue gate and it is really near to the inner city. Our grand taxi driver from the airport did not know the street or the Riad (go for "Blue gate" then) but most of the petit taxi drivers know it. Also there are many petit taxis at a roundabout which is located >200 meters from the Riad.
We told the hotel staff the next day we want to hire a tour guide for Fes medina and no shopping trip but I Was unhappy with the tour guide recommended by this riad , the tour guide kept bringing us to shops that he could get comisyen and wasted our time ! The fee should be 250 dirham for the guide but because we don't have the exact amount we gave him 300 dirham and asked for a change he say no and said that's was the fee for the extra hour ! Oh I felt so cheated !Come on in the 1st place the tour guide said 5 hrs tour but because of time constraint I told him I only got 3 hrs time in Fes before heading to our next destination and dare he said such nonsense !!! Practically he ruined our Fes trip !
A nicer place clean and safe. Team work are kind
Fantastic riad with amazing staff
Went along for a hammam and massage today €50 later and I left feeling like a king. lovely management team but the absolute star of the show was Lamyae the attendant and massage therapist.
I would suggest to anyone to go and experience this. truly wonderful . many many thanks. Tim (:
Great host. Meals are awesome. Roof terrace in the evening is fantastic. Hot water is a bit hit and miss.
It's a guest house but also a restaurant. It's a traditional riad with very nice mosaic! Staff are nice and the food is very delicious! Just a bit slow for the food. Overal, it's still highly recommended.
Me encanto el trato del personal, Mohamed un sol, nos busco una guía oficial
La situación muy céntrica en la medina, sin duda volvería!!
Gracias por haberme hecho la estancia tan agradable!!!!!
The staff are extremely helpful and very friendly. The washroom in the room was a bit tight, but the bed was nice and firm. It is also quite central.
Very nice riad, good breakfast and really helpful employees. One of the best riads I have been in while visiting Morocco.
Hermoso !!!!
