Nice traditional style
We stayed there during our holidays in Morocco and we particularly appreciated this quiet and charming place for its pretty traditional style. The staff were nice to us and we had a nice warm room, comfortable and well decorated. We were satisfied. it was an exceptional experience.
We only stayed two nights at Riad Monceau and wished it had been longer. We've had two lovely rooms with authentic decoration, on the same level. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and the location was absolutely unique in the heart of the medina, making it very convenient to reach all the major sites just by foot.
Had a fabulous NYE dinner here for 2017/18. Great service, delicious food, lovely atmosphere. Some of the music was a bit loud/over-bearing but overall excellent.
Must stay here if visiting Marrakech!
I had a good feeling about this riad Hotel and I was not disappointed. The staff was caring, friendly and always available. Gorgeous room, beautifully done and very comfortable and above all, a prime location in the medina… If I was to come back to Marrakech I would not book anywhere else!
That was my 3rd trip to Marrakesh and will definitely not be the last! The riad is just great, friendly staff, delicious food and outstanding indoor decoration. Thank you!
That was my first time in Riad Monceau. Fantastic staff they speak great english! We stayed at the Pacha room (wood furnace an jacuzzi). We took some cooking classes and we loved it! There is something magical about Jamaa el Fna place even if the heat was a bit of an issue. I would highly recommend :)
Excellent, highly recommended. About as expensive and as fancy as the Maison Arab, a little more intimate. Nearly as good food (ie great, some of the best Marrakech has to offer).
Very nice place. Very well run. Friendly staff. Excellent kitchen. Rashida the chef has her own cooking book.
Classico Moroccan Riad with great amenities. Superb cuisine and great atmosphere as a whole. Fairly priced and properly located in the Medina.
Wonderful
A little oasis steps away from the medina. Incredible riad, perhaps the most beautiful room I've ever stayed at. Location couldn't be better as well.
Easily the most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed in, delicious and varied restaurant selection, and the most incredible staff anywhere.
Staff arranged for a wheelchair for my mother who has difficulty walking. Handled every detail and ensured that my family's vacation was relaxing and fun. Staff made travel arrangements for us and lent me a personal phone charger since I didn't have an adapter.
Location is also a major feature of Riad Monceau, situated on a quiet side street off one of the major alleys into the market square. Easy to get to all the good spots, but quiet at night. The carpet merchant a couple of doors down is very friendly and can strike a good bargain if you know what you're doing.
I would recommend Riad Monceau to anyone.
What's not to like ? Every small detail is taken care of meticulously. You could not help sense the love and the geniune hospitality every step of the way. The meal exceeded our exptations much like the wine. The service was excellent.
Spent a morning making tajines and filo pastries as part of the cuisine class. Was a wonderful experience and very personalized as only two of us in the class. Afterwards we were seated in the restaurant and served the dishes we prepared as well as drinks and dessert for lunch. Absolutely loved it and can't recommend enough. Great value for money, chef Rashida was lovely and the Riad beautiful.
